POV: Mark (Wow when does this ever happen)

"You up to come over tonight?"

In almost an instant, she texted back, Of course! I'll be there around seven. Is that good?

"Yup! See you then!"

Over the past few days, Amy and I have been talking and catching up. It's a bit easier with Krystal going to school and all, though I do feel bad. I hope she doesn't think I'm not spending enough time with her. I don't want her ever feeling that way at all.

I checked the time: one. I have a lot of time left before she comes ov-wait...why am I nervous? It's only Amy....no, that's an understatement.

My thoughts were pulled away from me when Cooper jumped up on my lap, licking up face. "COOPER! I CAN'T BREATH!"

Cooper jumped down, and instantly Amy popped back into my mind. It's like an alarm, but one that doesn't have a "dismiss" button. It's like she can never go away for more than a couple seconds.

What's going on with me?

POV: Krystal

"So Taylor moved away?"

It was last period, and Adam was sitting next to me, not taking the news of Taylor moving lightly.

I nodded. "She went with the person that adopted her." I told him nothing more than that. It wasn't a story that I wanted to tell again.

"Wow, that sucks. She was always the happiness in the group...and the baddass rebel."

I agreed, sighing, "It really sucks...she's always been there..."

Adam frowned, cupping his hand over mine, for the class had tables instead of desks and he could do that. "It's ok. You two are inseparable, and Taylor is smart as hell when it comes to this shit. You two will figure it out."

The bell rang, bringing us back to reality. I started packing my bag, exiting the school and seeing Mark's car instantly. Upon climbing in, Mark didn't ask how my day went like he always does. Maybe he was a lot going on in his head just like I do...but he's been like this all week. What's going on?

....Taylor would know...

POV: Mark

It was ten minutes before seven, and I was running around frantically, trying to make sure the house was clean. Well, clean enough to the point where it doesn't look like two children live here, but one.

I felt Krystal's gaze on me the whole time, and I knew she had questions swirling around in that mind, but I wasn't going to say anything. I will tell her, but not yet.

"So she's coming at seven right?" She asked, starting out with the easy questions. I know Krystal. She starts simple and easy, to trick you into answering everything, and then hones down on the ones she really wants to know. That's when she trips you up and gets what she wants. Not with me. Not today.

"I told you this already."

"I was...just making sure." Got her, plan A down.

Everything was perfect, and I finally sat down with a huff. Krystal was silent, planning out a war plan in her head. Before she could send out her troops, there was a knock on the door, sending Cooper wild. I jumped up, running and answering the door to see Amy. She was dressed in a black and white striped crop top and high waisted leggings with boots.
