sunshine || Levi x dead!reader

You were there for me from the start.

"Good morning captain! did you sleep well?"

You stayed by my side, even when i pushed you away.

"do you need anything? would you like some tea?"

You cared for me.

"Captain! you shouldn't overwork yourself! its not good for your health."

you treated me with kindness even when i was harsh with you.

"If you need anyone to talk too.. i'm right here."

you loved me.

"Levi.. i love you."

you were my everything, and still are.

"Levi how are you today?"

so then, why did i take it for granted? why did i take you for granted?

I loved you, even though i never said it.

I cared for you.

why did i?

why would you..

leave me in this dreadful place we call earth.

you left me here to suffer.

is this what i get for taking you for granted?

of course..

I deserve this.

Tears made there way down the males blood-stained cheeks, his arms held the lifeless body of his beloved. sobs echoed throughout the field as water poured from out the sky, it was truly a tragic moment for the raven-haired man,

"why" he said, his voice cracking

"why?!" he shouted at the top of his lungs mourning for the death of his lover.

"don't leave me like the rest.. you're all i have." 

the sound of horses neared Levi as his grip tightened around his lover, his lips quivering as he stared at her lifeless form, men gathered around the heartbroken male as he endlessly sobbed, not carrying if others were staring.

"I need you." he managed to croak out, tears freely falling from his eyes, almost if his eyes were the clouds and the tears were the raindrops that were endlessly falling from the grey sky.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey you never know, dear, how much i love you"

he closed his eyes only to open them again as he looked at her in the face, sadness and remorse visible, placing his forehead against her cold one.

"please don't take my sunshine away.."

Oh HEck nO i almost cried writing this but damn. i tried attempting to do an angst not sure how this turned out but ya know.

anyways sorry for not updating as much, i literally had no ideas on what to write but it'll be great if you guys requested ideas for the next chapter so leave a comment or  you can message me privately on whatever request you'd like to see next !
