Morning couldn't have come faster. As Phoenix and me walked down at 5 in the morning, with our bags feeling glum we saw most of the pack members already waiting down to say goodbye. Some even had tears in their eyes.

We ate breakfast in silence, it was normal for us as neither of us are morning people. I looked around searching for Declan but couldn't find him anywhere, could he please just stop being angry for one day.

Finally we stood outside with our bags ready to load them in the car, I thought we'd be taking one car seeing as we were only 5 of us ... but turns out not.

We were taking two cars. Fine by me. The reason why we were taking two cars, not fine by me. One of the warriors who was coming with us, Preston , his little sister (trust me she wasn't that little) couldn't stay alone, as their parents had shifted to California, so she was tagging along.

You can guess who the 'she' was. It was Diana. Just my fucking luck, mate stealing bitch is tagging along

I walked towards the Range Rover the one in which Phoenix, Julian and me would be going in and put my bags in the trunk of the car that's when I felt two rough hands above my eyes, panicked I turned and twisted the hand kneeing the person in the balls.

Groans were heard that's when I noticed it was Declan. Oh shit, well in my defence he should've known ,"Dec, shit shit shit, are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't know it was you" I apologised while Phoenix snickered leaning on the car

"Yeah well my bad" he spoke trying to control his groans, he stood up straight after a bit and I hugged him, "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about..." I said hoping he'd understand what I was referring to

"Well I am still mad at you but, you can make it up to me" he said while I nodded but realised ,"But we're leaving I won't be back for three months" he turned to look at Oliver who must've come there during the commotion, and Oliver smiled and gave a nod.

"Well move aside, I need to put my bags too" he said and I stood there eyes wide and a fat ass smile on my face, while Phoenix groaned out a 'No'

'How did this happen?' I mind linked Oliver, 'I had to send him because before being an Alpha he is a Protector' Oliver replied

'Protector?' I asked confused, 'yeah, he has to continue my job and protect your brother and you' he said, makes sense, 'and now that you've found your mate you're in more danger than ever' he continued. Oh boy

The four of us sat in the car, Phoenix on the drivers seat and me on the passenger seat, Declan and Julian sat behind and Nate, Preston, Diana were in the other car. All set we left for the Crest Pack.

'Pace, who is your mate?' Declan mind linked me, 'Alpha Heath' I replied with a sigh. 'Not bad, but isn't he a bit stuck up?' He asked , 'Maybe, I don't think he even likes me, he's just trying to like me because I'm one of the warriors' I replied back

'I'm sure he likes you, you're his mate' he replied ,' Yeah but unless we make any physical contact he won't know and the bond won't be... activated?' I said back

'So why don't you make physical contact and let him know' he asked, 'I want to know how he treats me without the mate bond, that shows how he treats others, and I want to know if he's faithful to his mate' I said

'Hmm, well good enough' he approved, 'but I don't know if my self control will last long, my wolf always wants to be near him and touch him to awaken her mate' I said

'That's bound to happen' he said and then we fell into a peaceful silence. It was after a halt we were all pumped up and I started playing songs from my phone through the Aux. Julian was fun to be around we all yelled out the lyrics of songs during the entire car journey

It was a long drive to the Crest Pack

When we finally reached it was 6 in the evening. "Welcome to the Crest Pack, my beta, Cole will show y'all your rooms" Heath said and walked away typing something on his phone, Diana followed  behind him like a lost puppy

But Preston held her arm before she could go further, or before I could rip her into shreds.

Heaths beta Cole showed us our rooms, and we all were given separate rooms although they were big enough to fit three people.

I felt happy maybe because according to Heath Phoenix was my mate but he still gave us different rooms... maybe he cares or maybe I'm just overthinking this.

"This is the kitchen, feel free to come here anytime for anything, it's the alpha's quater so it's usually stocked and you'll get privacy" Cole told us, he unlike his Alpha seemed chill about everything

But the way he spoke defiantly proved that he cared and had respect for his Alpha.

After he showed us the pack house we could spend the day as we liked, considering the fact that we were going to stay here for three months or maybe more I decided to make my room a bit more homey

But as soon as I sat on the bed with my laptop the thought of doing anything vanished. What are these mattresses made of? Clouds? I fell asleep watching gossip girl.

It was 3am when I woke up feeling hungry, Phoenix must've seen how tired I was and didn't wake me for dinner.

Not a problem, Cole did say we could use the kitchen anytime... I'm sure 3am counts in anytime. That was the best sleep I've ever had screw Heath I'd probably stay back here for this bed, I'm in love.

I made my way out trying to remember the way to the kitchen, wobbling and trying to adjust my eyes to the darkness.

I reached the main lounge, okay now was it right or left or straight. I'm going to fluke it and try right. It took me half an hour or maybe more and I still hadn't found the kitchen, at one point I'm pretty sure I was going round and round in circles. Damn.

They should've made a map for this place, I mean how do they expect a newbie like me to know where anything is. I was so lost in my thought that I made the stupidest mistake EVER

Like if I tell anyone what happened next I'm sure they'd smack me on my face and be like, 'bitch, the fuck? Seriously?'

I banged into someone, and as soon as I heard this I knew I was in trouble
"Paisley?"

Fuck.
