I shuffled around in line, my nerves were on fire and my palms were sweaty. I had been a slight bit jumpy since the roses were left on my porch. I looked at Leah in front of me, taking in the fact that she looked like a sexy kink bat while I looked like an awkward skeleton. I had thrown on the costume and teased up my hair before finishing up with drawing a skeleton mouth on my own lips. We'd gotten to the club early but still there was a long line, resulting in us waiting for an hour. Finally, we'd just reached the front.
Leah turned to me, bouncing with excitement that the bouncer had just lifted the velvet rope, "We're getting in, Sam!"
We started walking forward and just as Leah walked through the roped entrance the bouncer blocked me off, "No more for now."
Leah's jaw dropped, "But she's with me! It's just her!"
The bouncer glared at her before repeating his previous statement. I could see Leah getting angry so I grabbed her hand.
"Hey, its ok. I won't be out here long, you go on in and have fun." I said with a forced smile.
She looked unsure for a moment, "You cool with that?"
"Yeah! Go have fun and I'll join you soon."
She grinned wide, "Thanks, Sammy! See you on the other side!"
And then I was left alone, twiddling my fingers and looking at my phone every so often. Waiting for what seemed like forever when really maybe 20 minutes passed, the bouncer lifted the rope again. Sighing in relief, I bolted inside, eager to find my best friend. I wasn't searching for long. Spotting her on the dance floor with a guy, I frowned slightly and decided against interrupting. Heading to the bar to wait for her to finish her fun, I sat on a stool and ordered a drink. Sipping my Jack and Coke and looking at the club, I took in the decorations. Of course the main theme was gold but tonight the high class club had pricey Halloween decorations. Spider webs, spiders, ghosts and black cats adorned the massive room and a mix of techno and graveyard sounds blasted over the speakers.
Three drinks later along with a couple jello shots and I was lazily drumming my fingers on the bar, enjoying the surroundings. I even started to let loose and bob my head around to the beat gently. That was, until my phone buzzed. Looking down at the screen, I opened a text.

Anymore jello shots and you'll fall over >;)
I suddenly looked up, realizing that the Joker was there and he was watching. I quickly got up and started to look around, trying to spot the green haired man. It occurred to me that might be harder then it seemed since everyone was dressed up in costumes. Any other day, the Joker would stick out like a sore thumb, but on Halloween, he looked like anyone else. I had made my way to the dance floor to find Leah, wanting to hit the road quickly, when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me close.
A puff of almost searing hot breath danced across the side of my neck, causing me to shiver in delight.
"Now, what could my dolly be looking for?"
I turned around, trying make some distance between me and the criminal's body only for him to pull me back close to him.
"Oh, now none of that. We're here to have fun tonight. Love the sexy skeleton by the way." He purred and started leading my body into a dance, grinding against me.
My body tried to followed awkwardly while I scoffed, "I'm not sexy, just a skeleton."
His response was to place his hands dangerously low on my back and pull me closer than already possible, "Relax," he leaned down so his lips tickled my ear, "And you're always sexy."
I blushed deep in embarrassment, trying to dance with the man as to not upset him and cause something bad to happen, "I'm just a skeleton."
I looked up into Joker's face, looking at his strong features again before meeting his cold eyes once more. My skin goose bumped and I watched his eyes travel down my body and felt his hands glide around as he groaned in what seemed to be lust and delight.
"But you're my skeleton, and therefore I say you are the most sexy thing in here." He gave a wickedly handsome grin.
I tried to clear the fog from my mind, my throat getting tight. It was as if the crowd around us didn't exist. Our bodies seemed hot together and his hands set trails of fire as the crossed my body.
"Um, w-when did I become your skeleton?" I asked, nerves tingling and bouncing in my stomach.
"Mmmmmmm, since I first spotted you," Joker pulled away to look into my eyes, "Come with me."
I swallowed hard, "And if I don't?"
He tsked a bit, running his thumb over my lips as he cupped my cheek, "Now dolly, I won't hurt you, but I won't take no as an answer."
I stared into his deep steel gray eyes, losing myself some in the insanity and wild emotions that danced in them.
"Please." He said in a final, breathy tone.
Nodding quietly, I took his warm pale hand and willingly let myself be lead out of the club to the parking lot to where a purple Lamborghini was waiting.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked, fear threatening my thoughts.
The Joker turned to me while opening the car's passenger side door, giving me another smile, "Oh, to have fun, my innocent little doll."
