When I walked out the house Killion followed me and started walking with me.

"Baby what's the problem?"

"I was talking to my dad and he said you couldn't come because he don't want any more responsibilities. Ugh this isn't even my fault really, he caught feelings for me but was a little boy about it and now because he made a huge step in his life it's my fault. I didn't tell him to do that and as soon as I find my happiness I can't keep it"

"I know you mad but running away from the problem isn't going to help it it's going to make it bigger. Sit there and fix the problem and don't leave until it's accomplished babe. I don't have to leave with y'all I can just meet y'all up there and I'll live on my own like I've been doing"

"I told my dad that but he just kept on saying no"

"If I go on my own he can't tell me nothing and I've been on my own for years I know what's up. I'll just call my mom and tell her but then I got to come back when my dad get out of jail"

"Yeah I feel you but I'm not going back home though"

"Yeah you are. You just need to calm down right now and then we going back. Me you and yo dad is gone talk and I'm gone talk to Darius so all this can be cleared up. If we leaving the state we need to do something different"

"Okay let's just keep walking though I don't feel like going back yet"

I was happy he was there to talk to me and not let me have my way. We walked and talked some more and then we made it back to the house. As soon as we walked through the door my dad had the maddest face I've ever seen him have.

"Jomae you grounded. Go pack all your stuff and don't leave this house unless I tell you to"

"But daddy..."

"NOW!", I stomped my way upstairs and when I walked through my door I slammed my door super hard. My dad already had boxes in my room and I guess I scared Nina because she woke up whining. I petted her and rubbed her belly so she calmed down. I got my clothes out for what I'm wearing tonight to go to sleep and tomorrow since I guess we're going to be on the plane. After I finished I played with Nina and I started watching movies in my room.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Come in", I said laying on my bed still watching a movie.

"Hey I packed up yo stuff that was at my house and it's downstairs in the truck", Killion said coming in my room.

"Okay thanks babe"

"Uh huh. You okay?"

"Yeah I guess. I just don't want nobody talking to me right now I just want to sit here and watch this movie"

"I understand that but don't slip into depression"

"I'm not going to do that Killion I'm just relaxing and I'm in my own zone right now. My body need to catch up with the rest of me right now so I'm just taking it slow"

"Good. Now listen babe I gotta go handle some business and I don't know when I'm going to be back so I'll holla at you later babe"

"Okay", he kissed me and then walked out the door. I laid back down watching tv.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Come in", I said annoyed because I didn't feel like being bothered.
