BEING JOMAE-New Mom

"Ma I'll meet you in the car", I got up from the table and as I was walking out the little girl ran by me and Killion was chasing after her and bumped into me.

"Oh my bad I didn't see y--"

"Uh huh", I looked him in his eyes and all hurt was there. I kept walking but he just followed me

"Baby what's wrong?"

"Is that your daughter?"

"H*ll naw. That's my boss's grand daughter. He going through something right now and I have to watch them"

"You weren't going to tell me that? I mean I know you work but all up had to do was say baby I'm working or my boss called me in or something instead of just leaving me hanging"

"I did I sent you a text. Look", he showed me his phone and it said he sent me the text at 5:36. I looked at the time and it said 5:35.

"Do I have dumb written on my forehead? Look it's fine go do your job and I'll talk to you later", I opened the door to the car and got in.

"Jomae wait", I closed the door and rolled the window up and then my mom got in the car.

"Baby you need to talk to him", she said looking at me starting the car.

"For what? He's not my boyfriend and I don't want to deal with that right now. I have a couple of hours here and I wanna spend time with you and shop besides he need to do his job before something happen to the while they in the restaurant"

"You always were stubborn and man you get that from me"

"Oh well people will live and so will I"

She chuckled and drove off. We went to the mall and went I to a bunch of different stuff we wanted and then we went back home. We got out the car and walked upstairs and Killion has standing by the door. I shook my head holdinf the bags waiting for my mom to open the door.

"Babe come here we need to talk"

"Okay well you're gonna have to talk fast because I have to get on the plane in a couple of hours"

"What? I thought you was staying for longer than this"

"I told you a day and a half. Well I was gonna leave tomorrow afternoon but I have school so..."

"Why you ain't tell me that I would've stayed"

"So you had a choice to leave or do the job. It doesn't matter I have to go anyway but what you wanna talk about?", I asked walking into my room packing my stuff

"I first want to say I'm sorry for leaving without telling you it was just a hurry up and go in. I'm trying to get to the top well I already am but I still have to be under my dad's friend but when he get out he passing his empire to me so I have to be on my a game"

"I understand that and you know I do because when I was here I would be like okay I'll see you later but I thought you would take a little time out for me while I was down here"

"I'm sorry baby. I'll fly down to see you when I can how about that? Or you can move back down here", he said hugging me

"Naw cause it's still the reason we moved there in the first place and I don't think my dad is going to let me"

"Aight well I can take you to yo flight. Are you taking Nina?"

"I wish I could but I can't take my baby. She to little and I don't want her ears popping from the plane"
