"You go girl!" I said, feeling my excitement burn inside me.
"Thanks, miss Macy!" Anastasia beamed at me.
I chuckled and threw myself onto my cushy, brown couch. I peered at the window, the sky was cream coloured and I could see the lake glittering.
"Um, your highness? Can I ask you a question?" Anastasia sat down on the slightly shorter couch, looking down.
She glanced at me once and a while.
"Of course, Anastasia." I said curiously.
"Well, um... There is a - um - a guard." She stuttered, face flushed, "That I - uh - that I like. A lot."
I grinned shamelessly.
"Oh I see! You need advice!" I cackled.
She gave me a tiny little nod of the head.
"Oh, well. First things fi-" I was interrupted by I cry of horror from the door.
I stood up immediately a turned to face the door.
"Mr.Batter! Luke! What happened?!" The guard exclaimed, thoroughly confused.
"He was, er, drunk. He passed out. He'll most likely be sober when he wakes up. He'll have minor hallucinations, so be ready for that." I lied smoothly.
"Madam Alago told me when she checked him out." I shrugged when he gave me a confused look.
He had auburn hair, and a short beard. He was tall, and had a large nose.
I glanced at Anastasia, who was glowing bright red.
Ah, this must be the guard of her dreams, I thought carelessly.
"Oh, um. Okay. I'm Arnold!" He said cheerfully.
"Pleased to meet you, Arnold." I said smiling sweetly in spite of myself.
"Hi Arnold." Mumbled Anastasia, head ducked and scratching her neck.
I mentally cackled with glee, I was probably just standing there smiling like a loony.
"Er... Okay, well, bye." He said, not knowing what to say.
He strode out of the room and I turned to Anastasia, eyebrows raised. She was tomato red.
"Ask him out for dinner." I stated firmly.
She was about to protest but I cut her off, "No buts. Ask him out for dinner, you can have it in my dining room. I'll organize the whole thing."
I grinned at her, and she smiled back.
"Bye, Macy." She said cheerfully as she scrambled out of the room.
I just realized that she just called me Macy. Not miss Macy, not ma'am. But Macy. I was happy for that.
My happiness was ruined when Luke started to stir.
He was still sprawled across my floor but said, "Ow. Macy, you are my fiancé. It hurts. Ow."
I just shrugged and cackled, "Whatever. Not my problem."
I felt my bed sag under my weight and I drifted off to sleep.
