Chapter 3 - Jin's Approach

"Alright, calm down boys ! Don't forget what we are suppose to do now ! We are all hungry, right ? Let's pack up and go ! There is someone waiting for us too" I said. Suddenly, they all kept quiet. They seems like little children that have done something wrong. I turn around and I realised what happen. "Let's run for it", said Sullivan as he drag me along with him.  At that moment, I was totally rooted to the ground. I tried to move but my body don't want to listen to me.

"Are you feeling okay now ? Can you walk on your own now ?", asked Sullivan concernly. "Yeah, I am fine. Thanks for just now ! I guess I am the only one that haven't been able to forget the incident", I replied in a soft voice. Sullivan slapped me in the face lightly and put in arm behind me. "Dont you dare you bring that up again ! Don't recall ! It's supposed to be kept inside our heart. Just treat it as it is not her that make our best friend commit suicide. She just look her, that's all. Now, smile." Sullivan shouted. Everyone kept silent. I lift my both cheek up to make a faint smile.

As we slowly make ourself to the resturant as we are supposed to eat dinner together today. We were glad we were not late and we are able to make it for our appointment with our client. This happened a few days before our friday meeting. Joey approached Jin and asked whether he can ask us for help so I decided that all of us will meet her during our dinner time.

When we entered the resturant, there is a girl waving at us and she is already sitting at the table that we have booked for our dinner. Jin immediately waved back and lead us to her. As we all reached the table and sat down, Jin do the introduction for us. She said in a sweet voice," hello everyone, I am Joey. I think Jin have already told all of you about me ?" "Yes Joey, somewhat he has. What can we do for you ? But before we do the talking, let's dine first" I said. She laughed.

The waitress take our orders. We are a bunch of impatient people. Waiting for our food to be prepared is quite a pain to be exact. But oh well. While waiting for our food to be serve, I observed Joey. Observing people has become a norm for us. We often believe in first impression. But some people might surprise us otherwise. Makes us think that it is too early to judge.

As usual, Zethy and Chinn was doing the same thing. The rest took out their phone and texted me the things they wanted to say but cannot be said in front of her.

Apart from observing Joey, we realised that Jin was acting weirdly. He is being so caring toward Joey. The rest looked at me and hint that they saw it too. I take an assumption that we all have being tricked. Jin asked us all to go have dinner together and we got a client who wants to meet us. He just wants us to be there to make things not so awkward for the both of them and the environment more lively.
