Chapter 6 - The Day Before The Big Day

We were all nervous just by thinking about tomorrow. We have everything all set up for tomorrow. Everything has been plotted out. We have already split all the task equally to each individual. There is nothing much we can do now.

We decided to take a break by going to a gaming cafe to play pool (billiards) and have lunch. We have been using our brains by coming out with ideas for the past three days. When we were about to leave school , we were stopped by a bunches of girl that is apparently younger than us. One of the girl walked forward and said that one of her friend likes Joel.

This kind of situation always happened to us. We just all just walk off leaving Joel to settle the matter on his own. This may seem bad for doing. What happen to the brotherhood where one might asked. But when you think about it, what can we do by being there ? He need to settle it by himself because it is his matter. We cannot interfere with it. It is a basic respect.

Apart from the bad rumors that spread about us but there are also good things others said about us. One of the good thing is that we are popular for having all types of guys in our club and they are perfect for a girl to be her prince.

Joel is one of our member in our club. He is ranked 13 in our club. Joel is attractive. But not saying that the rest aren't. They are attractive in their own ways. To me, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Everyone is handsome in my club.

Joel is always the cool guy. He doesn't talk much. He is warm hearted. He loves small animals. He doesn't smile much. The first Impression of him was that he is a cold blooded person but afterall he is not. When he join my club, I thought he would stay quiet all the way. But no, he did give his opinion when he is asked to. He doesn't question why is he supposed to do this or that. He just does it.

Joel can be quite a mysterious person to beginning with to someone who doesn't know him well enough. It takes effort to make him open up to you.

The girl pushed the girl that liked Joel out. "We will be waiting for you at the gate, Joel", I said. Joel shook his hand and signal us to go first.

"Err, hey Joel. There is something I want to tell you", said the girl that like Joel.

Joel said, "Okay Angeline, tell me whatever is in your mind. Take your time. I am not rushing. It definitely took you sometime to pick up your courage to do this"

"Joel, I like you. I really do. Can I be your's to keep ?", said Angeline.

"That's all you got to say ?", asked Joel.

"No, there are much more but I don't see a point saying it so I keep it simple. If you really want to know what is the rest. Be togther with me, I can spend the rest of my time telling you", said Angeline.

Joel walked up to her to hold her hand and said "Let's go now, everyone is waiting us. Thank you girls for accompanying her"

The rest of the girls cheering and sort of melted by seeing that scene happened in front of them.

Later on that day, we have lunch and played pool with Angeline. I said, "you got plenty of explanation to do later on". Joel smiled. It has been quite a while since I saw his smile.
