March 7th
Rigby's P.O.V
Ring~
"Murducay, turn ut opf!" I shout from the bathroom while I am still brushing my teeth. On the other hand, Mordecai is still on his bed, sleep talking.
"Hey, hey... Ladies... This pilot captain has time for everyone..." Gees, the way he says that sounds terribly wrong. I return my glance toward the mirror and spit the toothpaste. Because of HIS laziness, I'M the one who has to turn that dang alarm off.
Sneaking beside him, I sneer,"Dude! Whether you hear me or not, I'm going to Eileen's this instant. So you can stay here and fly with your dream plane - all - day!" I've been hearing his pilot dreams a lot lately.
I am walking down the stairs when I spot Benson holding his clipboard, leaning behind the couch. "Oh, it's you. Have you seen Mordecai? I really need his help with something."
"He's still sleeping upstairs," I say, "by the way, I gotta go. See ya!" Then, I rush off outside before Benson starts asking more questions.
"Seriously?! Ugh!" He continues his mumbling that only the air can hear.
Sometime later~
As I step in front of her house, my nose starts sniffing like crazy. Smells like... chocolate cake? This girl sure is the most impressive person I have met in my life.
"Eileen! I'm here," I say, knocking the door.
"Oh hey! You're right on time. I just finished baking as well. Let's eat," she replies as she opens the door.
I take my first bite after the cake is being sliced. Damn, it tastes so good.
"So, you free these 2 days? I'd think it would be great if we go camping near the waterfall," I explain.
Eileen raises an eyebrow. "All of a sudden, huh? Well, the coffee shop's not having events at the moment, and the weather's nice. Sure!" she agrees, shrugging her shoulders,"Mordecai and Margaret are coming too, right?"
I scratch my nape and shake my head. "Nope... not this time. Just the two of us. Does that bother you?"
It takes a while before she answers,"I'm fine. Still, it'll be cool as long as I get to do stuff with you, Rigby."
"Cool. We'll depart this afternoon, shall we?" I grin. She looks away immediately, hiding her red face from me.
"I-it's already noon!" she stutters. "My favorite show! It's on TV now. Rigby, could you record it for me? I don't wanna miss anything."
"Alright, I'm doing it!" I say, pressing the 'record' button. I slouch myself on the comfy couch and peek at the dining area. Good, she's washing the dishes. I quickly grab my phone and dial Mordecai's number. "Dude, she accepted to camp out with me. Tell the others about this!!"
"Whoa, nice, son. Imma go pack our bags and get going," he proudly states.
Hearing her footsteps getting louder by the second, I shout,"She'sheregottagobye!" I quickly put the phone away and act natural. I pat the couch and tell Eileen that we should watch TV together.
"Oh, okay," she reponds. It seems that my plan is gonna be an awesome journey for us.
