Jazmine POV

" I don't know he's just mad at me" I pouted a bit "cause he jealous" Cindy snickered "of what?" I looked at her in confusion "of Hiro and you, girl you said he walked in on y'all making out " she pointed out and I shrugged "I don't know, I guess" I mumbled. "Girl stop mopping, look I got something that will take this off ya mind " Cindy smirked "what?" I asked curiously and she pulled out a blunt "it'll take ya mind off it" she smirked "uhhh no, I think I'm good" I mumbled and Cindy groaned "damn girl you such a goodie goodie why do I even chill with you" she teased and I shrugged "because I'm your best friend and you love me" I smiled innocently and she rolled her eyes.

"Walk with me" she said plainly slipping on her shoes "where we going?" I asked "bout to go to the court" she told me and I nodded not sure exactly why we were going there but whatever.

When we got to the basketball court Riley, Huey's brother and two other dudes were playing basketball. "What up rezzy " Cindy grinned and they did a handshake. "Nunnin ma you tryna play teams?" He asked "nah I ain't here for dat, y'all wanna blow?" She asked pulling out the blunt "hell yeah" he grinned and Riley and the other dudes walked over with us back to the McPherson mansion.

"You sure you don't wanna?" Cindy asked "yeah" I sighed "I'm just gonna stay down here and play with your cat till you're done" I grumbled a bit "iight jaz just knock if ya need me" and the group ran upstairs.

Half and hour minute later

"Gosh what's taking so long, they only had one" I whined "I think" I mumbled and walked upstairs and knocked softly before entering. There was smoke everywhere and the random boys that Riley were with at the basketball court were passing a blunt back and fourth not paying me much attention while Cindy and Riley were no where to be found. I shut the door and walked to the staircase once more when I heard a loud moan from the other side of the hallway. It sounded like Cindy and made me cringe a bit, I didn't need to know what she was doing in there with Riley nor did I want to.

I really didn't feel like walking home since it was getting cold and mom and dad were out for dinner and thought I was spending the night at Cindy's which I wasn't to crazy about anymore. I dreadfully pulled out my phone.

Me : can you pick me up

I texted Huey and after 20 minutes of no respond I sighed a bit and  decided to walked home instead. It was cold and the sidewalks were iced over. I saw trying me best not to slip but it was almost like ice-skating. My teeth chattering as I made my way to timid dear lane.

"Gosh it's cold" I mumbled to myself seeing my breath. I had only brought a light jacket since I wasn't expecting to walk home and only needed something to get me from the house to the car.

Once I made it to my house I tried to open the door.

Locked

I whimpered looking through the window in the dimly lit house seeing my key on the kitchen table. I let out a frustrated scream knowing that wouldn't really get me anywhere. I sat on my porch shivering as I looked across the street as the Freeman residents.

They'll let me in...right?

I got up and made my way over carefully trying to avoid slipping. Once I was at the front door I rang the door bell. After a few agonizingly cold seconds I heard the door unlocked and before me stood the frowning Afro boy.

"What Jazmine" he frowned "I-I g-got L-locked out" I shivered as I tired to stop my nose from dripping. "This is my problem why?" He crossed his arms "c-can I come in p-please" I begged "and if I am to say no?" He challenged frowning at me "I will c-cry" I told him back "that won't affect me" he shrugged about to close the door but I stopped it with me foot and as he went to open the door again I darted into the house and into his room quickly jumping in the warm bed wrapping myself in his covers.

"Jazmine!" I heard the boy yell bit though I ignored it only to hear his footsteps come up the stairs and the door open but didn't bother to look up. "Get out of my bed! Also I didn't tell you that you could come in" he protested "but it's cold" I whined "that isn't my problem, it's not my fault you are irresponsible enough to forget your key " he protested "you know it would be a lot warmer if you laid down with me" I teased poking me head from the covers to see his frown with a slight tent of red on his cheeks.

"Get out Jazmine" he ordered "not without I kiss" I teased some more poking me lips out and laughed laying back down "you think this is a game?" He challenged "if it is it isn't a very fun one" I said back sarcastically.

OK OK so he might have been rubbing off on me.

If felt the covers get yanked off me "hey!" I frowned and he grabbed my feet and tried to pull me off but I hung onto the bed frame. "AH HUEY!" I yelled as he pulled me I couldn't help but laugh.

"Let go!" He grunted a bit "carefully what you wish for" I grinned and let go making him fall back and me landing in to floor next to him. I heard him growl and tried to make a run for it but he pinned me to the ground. He was glaring down at me as I tried my hardest not to laugh but failed miserably erupting into giggles.

"That wasn't funny Jazmine I'm not playing with you" he hissed "oh lighten up Huey" I said squirming a bit trying to break free from his grip "you still mad at me?" I asked him and he frowned not saying a word.

"Soooo I take that as a yes... But guess what I'm mad at you too now" I challenged "I don't care" he frowned "you don't have to" I shot back "good because I don't" he glared at me and I returned the favor, though I couldn't help but blush from how close I was to him.

Do you have to be so cute when you're mad

"Huey..I'm um...we're really close" I said sheepishly and I saw his face redden with realization as he let me go getting up quickly. "Sorry" he grumbled and I just shrugged "can we watch I movie?" I asked a bit with pleading eyes "fine, pick the movie" he ordered and I gasped "can we watch mean girls!" I asked "god no, you lost your chance to pick I'm picking" he told me walking out the room "hey! That's not fair!" I protested "life's not fair get over it" he said back and I pouted.

"Rude" I grumbled as I walked down the stairs following him. Huey picked a documentary on the 80s which was incredibly boring. Though I'm glad we were actually spending time together again
