I walked into school and there were lots of people whispering and eyeing me. Rebecca my bully walked up to me with her whole clique. "Hey DuBois remember when I told you to stay way from Huey?" She asked me. I just blinked in response "did you hear me!" She hissed pushing me making my hello kitty back pack fall down.

"Yea..." I said skittishly "then why are people telling me you and him are dating" she glared at me. "What?" I asked my cheeks getting red. "Don't play fucking stupid! You know exactly what I'm talking about! How is a low life nobody with only 2 friends gonna steal the hottest guy in school, MY man!" She stomped her foot.

There was a crowd around us now. "Honestly I don't know what you're talking about me and huey aren't dating" I said trying to dial down the situation because I didn't want to get beat up...I can't really fight. "YOU LYING AS WHORE!" She screamed grabbing my hair. "Owwwww!" I cried loudly trying to break free. As she punched me in the face Her friends jumped in joining her

"AYE!" I saw a Asian kid run up to us. Rebecca looked up at him and frowned. "What the fuck do you want!" She hissed at him. "Let her go! You see she ain't fighting back " he walked up to her angrily. "Or what" she challenged. He pushed her off of me and she fell on her butt and the crowd got silent. Her friends let go of me and backed away.

He must be new her because I don't think he knew that he pushed one of most popular girls in school and the consequences behind that. He grabbed my bag and handed it to me and helped me up. "You iight?" He asked. I nodded a bit confused as to who he was. Rebecca angrily got up and stormed off probably to go tell someone to fight the strange guy.

"Hiro Otomo, new student and you are?" He asked me.

Knew it! I knew he was new

"Jazmine DuBois, former student" I smiled awkwardly. "nice to meet you" he smiled back. Hiro walked with me to my locker. "So what did you do?" He asked. "Nothing...she thinks I'm dating my bestfriends" I explained opening my locker.

"Why is that a problem with her?" He asked. "Because she wants him and said a low life nobody with only 2 friends can't possibly have the hottest guy in school" I sighed sadly placing my books in.

"Hottest guy in school?" Hiro smirked a bit. "I'm sure he can't be all that I mean look at me" he joked. "He can't compete with this" he smirked flexing and I giggled "I'm serious though hiro" i told him and he nodded.

"do you even like the boy?" He asked me "of course who doesn't" I mumbled. "Only thing is he normally doesn't give people the time of day... except me" I smiled. He chuckled "is that why she thinks you're dating?" He asked. "I guess...and he beat someone in the face because they made me cry" I blushed. "Yikes kind of protective huh" he smirked

"Well the person who made me cry also called him the N word" I shut my locker and he walked me to my classroom. "That makes sense I guess" he told me and i nodded. When we got to class I stopped at the doorway and pointed to Huey. "Him...that's the boy" I told Hiro and he raised his brow. "Really? The dude with the hair that looks he fell out of the 70s" Hiro started to laugh and I pushed him playfully. "Stop it " I smiled.

"Just look" I pointed to a group of girls drooling over him. He blinked "he doesn't look like he cares" Hiro looking back at Huey. "Because he doesn't" I smiled a bit and he shook his head "you got it bad" he told me and blushed a bit. "Maybe" I shrugged looking at my feet he chuckled "ok then, welp I gotta get to class see ya around Jazmine" he told.

"Bye Hiro!" I gave him a hug and he raised his brow "uh ok" he chuckled and walked down the hallway. I walked into my first period where Huey was doing work with his headphones in so he didn't even notice me. I sat behind him like normal and glanced at my sleeping friend Cindy...as normal.
