Jillian's POV:

**

To say that I was excited about lunch is an understatement. For the past week or two I've been noticing that Joselyn had been sitting alone.
When she bumped into Jenny this morning I felt bad for what Jenny had said.

I walk into the cafeteria, looking around for the short girl. A small smile grew on my lips when I saw her looking around. I quickly walk over to her and smile slightly.

"Hey there Josie, you still sitting with me?"

She looked slightly surprised, looking up at me nervously. "Yeah, sorry. I was trying to find you, but then I thought that you were just joking around with me earlier"

"Why would I joke around about sitting with you?"

She shrugged and gave me a small smile. I gently nod and walk with her over to my friends. They were all sitting around the table.

The twins, Dylan and Daniel were next to each other. Jackson was sitting next to Henry, whispering something to him that made him blush. Trina was talking to the twins, sitting across from them.

I smile at Josie and sit down, patting the seat next to me. Her shy green eyes were looking up at me as she sat down, her hair loosely falling in front of her face.

Dylan smirked and looked over at me before raising his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Josie, who was picking at her food.

"Guys, this is Josie. Josie, this is Dylan, Daniel, Henry, Jackson, and Trina."

She waved shyly and gave them a small smile. Josie was obviously nervous, but I don't know why. It might be because she is meeting new people.

"Hi Josie! It's nice to meet you!" Trina's voice caused Josie to jump slightly, making me gently place a hand on her back.

"Oh... uh nice to meet you too Trina.." She let out an awkward laugh and looked down at her tray, a small blush appearing on her face.

"So, are you and Jill a thing?"

Dylan's words made me nearly choke on my food.

I quickly shake my head, looking down at Josie, who was bright red.

"N-no, I just met her today..." Her voice was quiet and nervous as she looked down at her lap.

"We're just friends Dylan." I laugh lightly and roll my eyes.

Josie looked up at me nervously, her green eyes looking up at me with her light brown hair framing her face perfectly. She was wearing a simple grey sweater with dark blue skinny jeans that showed off her curves wonderfuly.

"Hey, Josie. Do you want to hang out with us after school?" Daniel smiled genuinely and looked down at Josie.

She nodded shyly, still picking at her food.

"Uh, sure. I was gonna maybe go to Jill's volleyball game though..."

"Thats okay, we are going too."

She smiled again, making my heart flutter as she looks up at me.

"Sounds like a plan, are you gonna be there?"

All I do is nod, smiling like a crazy person. I was so excited about getting to hangout with her later.

How was that? I would really like some feedback.
