They met through social media.
It was not long before he asked for her number and she had given it to him without any doubt, she trusted him..a lot. They would talk to each other everyday and soon became friends and friends to best friends. She didn't realize that she had fallen for him too until he decided to confess his love for her. It was a beautiful beginning, something like in a movie scene.
After a while things got difficult.
She was broken from the start, he knew it but he decided to love her and stay with her anyways.
Long story short.. He was uncomfortable with how she always saw the world in a negative way..he knew it's a fucked up world but he always tried to find some happiness and she..she simply just let it be..she let the sadness consume her until she couldn't feel anything.
They never talked about things, always assumed that the other would feel bad and thinking about what's the worst that could happen? And that's how they ended.
It wasn't like he cheated or she cheated or maybe they lied to each other. They just didn't talk..silence consumed the distance between them and now they both were just numb.
Numb.
Such a funny word it is eh? How we say we feel numb when numb itself means "not being able to feel anything".
