"He's not doing so good" I hear the nurse say outside the room, to the doctor. "Get him on the bed so we can take him to the x-ray room." I'm laying beside him on the hospital bed, he's sleeping my hand is over his heart. He grabbed my hand before he fell asleep. I hope he's okay. I start tearing up, he wakes up and starts rubbing his hand through my hair. "I love you, princess" I smile, "I love you too, baby." He kissed my forehead.
The doctors came and got him, I told him I would be back later. He said he should be awake when I get back.
So, I left, to hang out with Emalie and Drake, we were going to the mall. We were going to get some food, and then shop for a little while. I went to the restroom after we order our food at Steak&Shake, when I got back Emalie was crying and Drake was just sitting there with his face in his palms. I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of his chair. "What is going on?!" I whispered to him, "I can't be with her anymore, it's not working out. Can we go outside and talk?" He said with a shaky voice, " Sure" I said, "Let me grab my sweatshirt" I walked to the table, "Emalie, we're going outside for a minute, I'll be back in a few minutes, love. Stay strong.<3"
We were outside talking he said, "Jenna, I can't do this, she's just-she's just not what I want anymore." His dark green eyes were glossy, "Then what do you-" Drake was kissing me, I pulled away, "Drake! What are you doing?!" He said, "Jenna, you're what I want, I've wanted you since the day we became best friends. When I told you I loved you, I wasn't lying I do. I really do, more than you will even know. Jenna Lynn, I love you more than anything.<3" Oh. My. God. "I'm with Rhys you know that! And I'm sorry but you're like a brother to me Drake! I love you too, but not in that way." He was crying, I hugged him, (as friends) I looked behind me and there was Emalie....she was crying even harder now, she seen and heard it all...
She came over to me, and slapped me. "I totally deserved that, I'm sorry he did it, you know I'm dating Rhys! I wouldn't do that to you, Em!" She didn't say anything, she just walked away. She held her wrist up, the one with our cuff bracelet on it.
Drake was still crying, I hugged him tighter, "I'm sorry, I love you."
