*Pick a character that doesn't exist in your book? If the character used to exist in your MC's life, you can do a flashback or you can do a flash forward into your characters future. Or create them specifically for this exercise. You may become inspired to add them in. If it's possible, go for it. If not, pick again or substitute it for another character in your book not on the list.
You can also do a quick creation of this character, picking from personality traits listed or character bios.
