We finally fell asleep and the alarm went off at 8:00 am on the dot. I was so tired and I looked like it too. He was still holding me. My morning started with him like always, a kiss on the forehead and good morning Mrs. Martin. I said good morning my love. When I finally sat up he laughed and my hair was a mess, it was funny. It had that I had been royally fucked look. I told him well you did this, so this is your fault.

Kol said ok, I won't do it again I promise! I said, the hell you say, you will do it again and again and again. I had to get myself together. I was meeting his mom today. I smelled coffee coming upstairs it smelled great. Charese had already brewed a fresh pot and I needed it if was going to be on point at his moms. Kol, I am going down for some coffee, would you like me to bring you a cup? Yes, baby. I asked, how do you want it?

He told me if I was naked, he didn't care...... Kol! I went down to the kitchen; Charese was like what the hell happened to you? Then she said never mind! Damn you look tired, hell I am and you don't look so rested either Charese. Well don't worry Sam, we were up talking and that's all. You are a grown ass woman Charese, and what were you talking about.

We were talking about you fool. Honestly? Yes. You and Kol to be precise. Why? Because Gene said he must really love you. He told me that he has always had girlfriends, but not like you. He said that they are never introduced to the family like you have been, that the girls usually met him wherever.

He was shocked at the way he is with you. He said that the Alisha chick always gets with him and he has never reacted like that before. Kol never asked he to leave. Even Eddie is sure Kol is truly in love with you and I believe it too!

Kol wants me to move, can you believe that? No, Charese he is loaded! What are you talking about? Kol has money, and plenty of it. He asked me to move and I can keep my house. He would pay it off, titled in my name, and it could be our home when we are in town visiting. I am so scared. What if I am just something to do right now?

What if I am the new girl for the moment, what in the world can I offer a man that has everything and that can have anyone? Charese said you must have something because you are meeting his mom in 2 hours. Shit! I gotta get upstairs. When I got there my things were packed and the suitcase was on the bed for my inspection!

I was in awe, Kol what have you done? I have done what any good husband would do for his wife, help. I love you! I have got to do something with this wig, my hair is a hot mess! It does and I enjoyed every moment of messing it up. Shut up! I showered and sung the entire time. Kol wanted to know if I was giving a free concert?

I told him I would have to charge him with physicals favors it he wanted a real concert. Finally, I was ready to meet his mom, or so I thought. I am so nervous; I was tongue tied and everything. Kol just kept saying don't worry. Anyone who love me, she loves. Did she love Alisha? Really Samantha? Oh, I hit a nerve, you used my government name. She never met my mom.

We loaded the car and I was feeling down knowing that I would be back in Memphis soon. Charese was ready too, so we jumped in and off we went. I was about to meet his mom for breakfast. Baby I don't want to go. What are you talking about Sam? I don't want to meet her yet.

I am afraid this will not end well and I just don't want to get too attached to your family. Sam, first I love you, second our family, and trust me please. I promise, you have nothing to worry about. Charese tells me to lighten up and remember what we talked about earlier this morning. I took a deep breath and said ok.

We pulled up at this beautiful house with a rounded driveway. It was too exquisite to describe; the stones were beautiful and the lawn was something straight out of yard crashers. Charese said this is magnificent, just your mom lives here? No, it's just me. Kol, this is your house? Yes, I forgot something and I need to get it before we get there.... I was flabbergasted. He said come on in; it will just take a sec.
