I don't want to get out of bed. I know baby, we can come straight home when we leave the doctor's office if.... Sam, do you mind if we stop by my office before coming back home? No, why would I? I just want to make sure; you may have had something planned. Yeah, like I will be running around in the city without you!

What does that mean? Nothing, I just don't know my way around well enough to be let loose. We finally made it to the doctor's and Candice is already here. What's up Sam? Nothing girl, thanks for coming. Anything for my niece! Kol, did you start this? No, he didn't I just want it to be a girl.

Ms. Smith, well he goes nothing. Kol holds my hand as we walk back to the examining room. My name is Abby; I will be assisting today. Let's get started. I will check your pressure, temp, weight, and get some blood. I hate needles. Oh, it won't hurt, I promise. I will ask just a few questions, and Dr. Wallace will be in to see you.

It looks like your pressure maybe a bit high but not much. I'm sure the doctor will take a closer look. The door opens, in walks the doctor. Hi Ms. Smith, I am doctor Wallace, please to meet you. How are you feeling today? Nervous, Dr. Wallace, this is Kol Martin my fiancé. Pleased to meet you too.

So, you want to confirm you are pregnant, right? Yes, we both have had morning sickness and it's horrible. If I am not pregnant then something is seriously wrong with both of us. Ok, looks like Abby took your pressure already and a blood sample. It should be done shortly. I will go and check on the lab work.

Kol, why are you smiling so hard? Because we are about to bring in a new beautiful life into our family. If it's a girl, you are going to be so hard to deal with, ugh! Why would you say such a thing Sam?

Because you are already over protective of me, a girl too; Trouble is all I can say. Ms. Smith, Mr. Martin you are indeed pregnant! I am just numb for a minute. I can't believe it. Kol, what's wrong? Nothing, I am so happy! Candice, what are you doing back here?

I just heard Abby say results are in, so I follower her! Well???? Kol is smiling and me, my face says it all. Oh my God! I am so happy for you guys! I knew it. Now that the party has slowed down you will have a lot to do to keep you and the baby healthy says Dr. Wallace.

I am prescribing a few vitamins for you. Your pressure was a bit high, do you have a stressful job? I don't start for a couple of weeks; it will be a brand-new environment for me? Just set an appointment to see me a week before you start and two weeks afterwards, I just want to make sure you are ok.

We headed out and I feel so, well I don't even know. I am at peace and it's strange. Sam, we must make sure you are not stressed out about anything. Kol, don't worry I will be fine. I have always had borderline high blood pressure. Candice jumps in on the conversation and said let's go shopping!

I want to get so much stuff for my new niece! Candice, stop it. I am only a few weeks so let's take it easy with all that shopping. I promise I will call you later Candy. Sam, are you hungry? No, I am fine. Don't worry, I don't need to eat every hour you know.

Don't you have to go by your office? Yes, I will only be a few minutes. I have some quick stuff to do and the paperwork is in my office otherwise I would have stayed home. It's fine. I will just stay in the car. No Sam, cold as it is, you will come up to my office with me. Are you sure? Yes, baby besides everyone already knows you; I have a picture of us on my desk.

Kol, what man does that? A happy one, let's go. This building is huge; how many floors is it? I don't know maybe 40 or so. What floor is yours on? The 10th floor. I hate heights Kol.
