[Y/N'S POV]
"Class!We will now live in dorms for convenience.There will be two people in each dorm!"my teacher,Mr Wu,announced.
There were both exclaimations of joy and sorrow.
Just then,the bell rang.
"Go for your break!I'll give the names of your roommates later!"Mr Wu said.I went to the canteen with my best friend,Hyerin.Just then,Jaehyun approached me.He was a senior in this school.His eyes were teary and seemed restless.
"Please excuse her,I need to speak to her,"Jaehyun said to Hyerin in a strained voice.
He then dragged me to the rooftop.
"What happened?"I asked.
Jaehyun sniffed before saying,"Our father...He.. He..."
"He?"I prompted.
"H-He...hung himself..."
"Did I hear you correctly?"I asked in shock.
"I wish you heard me wrongly..."
My eyes widened in shock and I broke down in tears.Yes,he had divorced with my mother,but he was still my family member.Jaehyun started sobbing as well.He handed me a letter from his pocket :

Dear Y/N,
I hope that you will live a happy life without me.Please stay healthy and take care of yourself.Please forget me.Jaehyun will take care of you.I will miss you.I love you,my princess.
Love,
Your father

Jaehyun then spoke up,"In my note,he said that he still owes the loan sharks a huge sum of money,so he was under pressure and hung himself.He had sold the house as well..."Jaehyun trailed off.
"I might have to stay at your house for now but I'm afraid of our Moth-"Jaehyun was cut off.
"She left,"I simply replied.
"Oh."
"You can stay there!"I replied with a smile.
"Thanks!"He replied and side-hugged me.
"I heard that your roommate is a boy!"Jaehyun said and nudged me playfully.
I just rolled my eyes.
"He's not just a boy.He is a new transfer student and most girls were admiring him when he walked in the hallway!"Jaehyun said and winked cheekily.
"Unfortunately,he's taken,"Jaehyun added.I groaned.
"By?"I asked.
"He's taken by your most favourite person on Earth!"Jaehyun replied,sarcasm evident in his voice.
"No way,Lee Hayoung?!?!?"I shouted.Lee Hayoung thinks that just because she is rich,she can order others around.She was known to be the "Queen" of our school as well as the girl who cheats on boys.
"Watch your volume!"Jaehyun said like a mother.
"It is!"Jaehyun said with a forced smile.
"Are you serious?Anyone would rather date a bat-pig hybrid than date her!"I exclaimed dramatically.The bell for class rang.
"Good luck!"Jaehyun said and ruffled my hair before running away.
"What a great brother,"I muttered under my breath.
I returned to class and waited for Mr Wu to confirm my roommate.
"Y/N!Your roommate is Lee Taeyong!"Mr Wu said.
So Taeyong is Hayoung's boyfriend.Gosh.I don't want to talk to anyone related to Hayoung.
I then went to Room 21 and unpacked some of my items as I brought extra stuff to school.
"Y/N?"Jaehyun poked his head into the room.
"Yes?"I replied.
"I quickly went to your house and brought your clothes here!"Jaehyun said.
"Thank you!"I replied and grabbed them.
"Arrange the room nicely!Your roommate will come soon!"Jaehyun said and patted my head.
"Nae,arraseo,"I replied.Jaehyun then left.Soon after,someone knocked on my door.
A gorgeous man came in and asked,"Is this room 21?"
I nodded.
"Hi,I'm Taeyong!"He said.
"I'm Y/N!"I replied and shook hands with him.Indeed,he was extremely handsome.I was mesmerized when I stared at his brown,deer-like eyes.
I had to go back to the school for night classes as my grades were dropping,so I left Taeyong alone at the dorm.
"Y/N!Pull up your socks!You can do it!"the teacher said.
"Ok!"I said in annoyance.
After the class ended,I went back to the dorm while dragging my feet due to tiredness.
