Hospital love

Chapter Four

(Time skip- 2 months)

It's been two months since Eric's operation and he's still unconscious, "please wake up Eric, your the only friend I've had since I came to this hospital, I can't live without you, I don't wanna lose you, I-i love you" I cried.

I clutched his left hand and I buried my face in his chest as the tears kept coming, I heard the door open, but I didn't look up "Peter, don't try and ask her to leave, I've tried but she won't leave, it's tearing me up inside, watching Abby crying her eyes out over Eric" I heard Paul say.

I cried myself to sleep, I felt something squeeze my hand gently but I was to tired to look up but I heard a voice that I had longed to hear for the past two months "how long has she been here" I heard Eric's sweet gentle voice say "she hasn't left, we couldn't get her to leave, she's allowed to leave but she didn't want to leave in case you woke up when she wasn't here to see you wake up" I heard Paul reply.

I felt someone stroking my hair, "I'm awake now my beautiful angel" Eric whispered in my ear, I slowly opened my eyes and looked up, the first thing I saw was Eric's beautiful brown eyes, tears started falling down my cheeks, "oh Eric, I thought you'd never wake up" I cried as I threw my arms around his neck, burying my head in Eric's black curly hair.

Eric stroked my back soothingly, "shhh shhh, I'm here for you now, I'll never leave you alone again" Eric said in my ear, I released Eric and sat on his bed, I rested my head on Eric's shoulder and smiled happily.

Julie had come in and told Eric the same thing that she'd told me after I'd woken up, I smiled when Julie said that I could stay in Eric's room without either of us asking.

The other members of Kiss had dropped by and they were happy to see that Eric was awake, they left us so we could have some time alone,  "I heard what you said, and I love you too" Eric said, my heart fluttered when he said those three words that can make someone happy.

"You do?" I asked him, not quite believing him "yes, and when I'm discharged, I know you won't have anywhere to go, so I'd like you to live with me" Eric said,  my eyes widened and I gently hugged my friend, "of course I'll live with you" I said.

I fell asleep, with my head resting on Eric's chest, listening to hid comforting heartbeat.
