Weeks pass, this is starting to feel like home. I walk down to the crops with Maggie, we both carry two buckets of water.
Me and Maggie get done watering the crops with only three trips to the well.
"Let's head down to the town hall, Rick is hosting a town dinner" she said giving me a smile. As we arrive at the town hall, Rick and michonne greet us.
"Glad you guys arrived" she says with a smile "glad we could make it" Maggie says in reply.
I walk up to Carl and Ron. "Hey guys" I say "whatcha up to?" I ask them both.
"Ron here, thinks he can throw this rock across the lake and land it farther than me." He says "I don't think, I know." He says sarcastically in reply.
"You don't ever think do you Ron?" I ask him. He just rolls his eyes.
"Let's go out to the lake and see" I say
We arrive at the dock. Carl and Ron grab about the same size rock. "Alright stand here guys. No cheating." I say narrowing my eyes at Ron.
"Hey I don't cheat, I win" he said with a smirk
"I don't know about that Ron"
Carl throws his and drops down in the grass across the lake. "Ha beat that." Carl says to Ron
Ron chucks his which lands 3/4 the way of the lake and plops in the water.
"Hey Ron 'I can throw the rock across the-" that's when we hear the gunshots
