chapter 4

Alpha Steve's p.o.v

As I was sitting in my office, one of my warriors mind-linked me.

'Alpha we found a female rogue and she's crying hesterically, we don't think she's a threat and we don't know what to do. Do we have to kill her? Can she come back to the pack house with us?'

'Sure, bring her to my office immediatly. I need to see for myself whether or not she's a threat.'

'Yes alpha'

I cut off the mind-link and I leaned back in my chair. I was so tired and so stressed. I'm already 19 and I still haven't found my mate.

'You need to look more, I want to find my mate now. I want to mate and have pups and I want love her.'

My wolf jordan kept putting images of what my mate would look like and I just ignored him while I went back to doing paperwork. As I was writing, I smelled something absolutely amazing. It smelled like vanilla and strawberries. It had my wolf screaming inside my head.

'MATE.ITS MATE.SHES HERE.GO FIND MATE.GO GO GO NOW NOW NOW BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE MARKS HER.'

The thought of someone else marking MY mate made me growl. I quickly burst out of my office and saw the most beautiful woman I have even seen. I ran and hugged her .

"Mine."

I felt warm sparks where all over my body that made my wolf jump for joy as I held her close. I was about to ask for her name when she backed away from me with tears in her eyes that made my heart ache. When she ran downstairs I was so hurt I didn't snap out of it until jordan started yelling at me.

'YOU FUCKING IDIOT GO GET MATE AND APOLOGIZE!!!!'

I took off running downstairs and tried flung open the doors to see nobody and smell nothing.

'She's still inside!, hurry and find her before she leaves!'

I went back inside to find her and I mind-linked the Warriors who brought her here.

'She's still in the pack house,help me find my mate and your new luna!'

'SHES THE LUNA?!?! YES ALPHA WERE GONNA FIND HER DONT WORRY!!'

I cut off the mind-link and dashed upstairs. I smelled the hallway and picked up her scent and began to follow it.

Nicoles p.o.v

As I leaned against the wall in the closet I heard foot steps outside the door. When the door swung open I squeezed my eyes shut. I didn't smell my mate though. So I slowly opened my eyes to see a small little kid looking up at me with an extremely confused face.

"You look like your about to poo your pants miss." I smiled a little bit at the small little boy. "Why are you hiding in the closet?" I looked around and poked my head to make sure he wasn't anywhere close. "I'm hiding from someone, can you help me please?" As I said this the boys face lit up. "LIKE HIDE AND SEEK?!?! yes yes yes yes I'm really good at that game but their gonna find you in here,come we can hide in my room.

The boy took my hand in his and we walked out of the closet and started running towards the staircase. "Shhhhhhhh we have to be like ninjas!" I started to lightly chuckle at him."okay" as we ran inside his room I looked around and it was so adorable.(a/n the boys room is showed at the beginning.)

He quickly shut the door and told me to hide under the bed. I squeezed under the bed and made sure I couldn't be seen. I saw the boy dump out a box of toys on the floor and scatter them alittle. He then sat next to the pile and played with the toys.

"I'm nicole by the way, what's your name?" The boy turned around to me. "My names jhaden, now Shhhhhhhh don't let anyone hear you." As I nodded my head yes I smelled my mate again. My wolf kept trying to make me run from under the bed and go to him but I stayed put.

Then the door swung opened and I heard jaden talking. "Hi alpha, do you wanna play with my
me again?" My heart almost melted on how adorable he was........wait.....,....DID HE JUST SAY ALPHA?!?!?! "Not now jhaden, I'm looking for someone."

I heard him sniff as he walked closer to the bed. "Jhaden,have you seen a girl come in here?" "Ummmm maybe I'm not sure" "jhaden you know it's not nice to lie. Now where is she, I can smell her and her scents really strong in here, is she under the bed?"

I heard pure silence as I think jhaden was trying to find a way on how not to lie but still keep me hidden. Then in a quick plan, I quickly rolled from under the bed and made a mad dash for the door only to run into a wall. Wait, walls don't wear shirts or give me sparks. Of course I ran straight into him.

I kept my head down and looked at my toes as I felt him staring down at me. Compared to my 5'2 height he was like a foot taller than me.

"Hey little mate. Why did you run away from me?" His voice sent shivers down my spine. I tried to wiggle out of his grasp again but this time his hands were firmly on my sides holding me to his chest. So I did what any adult would do in this situation.

I started to cry.

4 chapters yea, I am on FIRE man.
I'll put up a pick of Steve in the next chapter so you guys know what he looks like. I love you all little shits.
