chapter 9

Unknown p.o.v

"I, alpha Steve king, reject you, Riley simmons, from the black rivers pack."

I saw Riley squeal in immense pain as she and her wolf were stripped of the packs bond. I watched the entire argument and thought she would be a perfect recruit for my plans. Her anger towards the alpha's luna would make it easy to persuade her to help end the entire pack.

I jumped off the treetop and ran further into the woods and past the border. And all I could think was how fun it would be watching the black rivers pack perish.

Nicoles p.o.v

I was resting in my wolf form under a tree with long hanging branches that covered me from being seen. I was all bundled up pouring tears from my eyes when I smelt steves scent.

'Go to mate. He came looking for us. He's choosing us.'

'Or he's here to reject us. You saw the way he kissed that girl. He doesn't want someone like us whose unfit for the luna position.'

'But you don't know that. He already accepted us as his mate. He can't go back on that.'

My thoughts were interrupted by Steve snuggling his head into my neck. He pouted and licked me telling me he was sorry. But I slowly backed up further into the tree. He whimpered and laid on his stomach with his head down.

'He's sorry nicole. Can't you realize that it was that girls fault?. She threw herself into his arms. And forced their lips together. He never wanted her over us. He loves us.'

As I thought this over I realized how much I overreacted. Alexandria was right. It wasn't him who did all that stuff but that girl. I blamed steve when I never gave him the chance to even push her away.

I walked next to him and nudged my head into the side of his furry stomach. He looked up at me and had the most adorable wolfie grin ever. He almost immediately jumped on me and started licking my face and neck. I playfully pushed him off.

After making up instead of going back home we decided to stay in the forest for a little while and have fun. Steve was walking me to one of his favorite spots in the forest and my jaw almost dropped to the floor when I saw it.

It was a calm spot with a few trees surrounding a stream with animals and flowers everywhere. It was absolutely amazing. I ran towards the stream and started taking a few drinks of it. When I felt steves presence behind me I held some water in my mouth and sprayed it at him getting his fur wet.

His face was priceless as I turned and took off in the opposite direction. We spent hours running around and laughing and having fun before we started on our way home.

As we neared the pack house me and steve both shifted and that's when I realized I didn't have any clothes. They ripped when I shifted earlier.

"Ummmm steve?""yes baby bear?""Ummmm I-i don't have any clothes. They ripped up when I shifted earlier. I'm naked."

I could feel steves eyes glued to the tree I was hiding behind. I was blushing crazily because I could tell he wanted to see me nude. Such a perv.

'Show us to mate'

'No'

'Why not?'

'I don't want to be seen naked'

'But it's mate'

'No. You remember the last time someone saw us nude. And steves an alpha. So his wolf will be harder to control.'

And with that I cut off the conversation with my wolf. I had to wait patiently slightly up the tree hidden as steve got me something to cover up.

Once steve came back from the pack house, he stood under the tree and waited for me to come down. "YOU CAN JUST LEAVE IT ON THE BRANCH. THANK YOU."  Steve's face scrunched up in a frown. "Why can't you just come down and get it?"

"Because......."

" Because what?"

" I don't want you to see me naked....."

I felt my cheeks heat up as a smirk crawled it's way onto steves face. "I'm gonna see it soon anyways." He chuckled. And my cheeks turned into the color of a firetruck.

I climbed down and made sure nobody was looking, and quickly put on my shirt and shorts.

I started walking into the pack house and once I pushed opened the door I was meet with something absolutely crazy. Steve's mother was holding about 2 rolled up magazines and was beating the life out of Steve with them.

"WHY DIDNT YOU BRING HER TO MEET ME YET?!?!?!DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG ME AND YOUR FATHER HAVE BEEN WAITING!!!!! AND WHY WAS SHE CRYING?!?!?!HOW DARE YOU MAKE YOUR MATE CRY!!!"

"OWWWW MOM STOP AHHH STOP OUCH DADDDDD PLEASE H-HELP."

"Sorry son, but you should've brought her earlier. You know how your mother is when she gets impatient."

I started smiling more than I have all together in the past 10 years of my life. Then I saw steves mother stop beating him and turn towards me.

" Oh my goodness. You must be nicole. I'm raychele, steves mother. I've waited so long to meet you." She gave me a hug bear hug and I felt so much warmth from her.

She was pulled away by I steves father who held her to his side. "Hello, I'm steves father jhaden. Welcome to our pack." I could feel the power radiating off of him. "Ummmm hi,I'm nicole. And I'm sorry for trespassing onto your land."

"It's alright, no need to apologize, you are my son's mate, and I understand. All is forgiven." Raychele said with alright bright smile.

It's final-fucking-ly finished. Please don't hate me for the long wait. I'm in high school and my classes give me so much work and it's hard to update sometimes. But just know I'll update whenever I can. I'm trying to figure out a solid day to update but I don't know how often yet.
