Nicoles p.o.v

'Nicoooollle.waaaaake uppp, I need a runnnnn.'

'Alright alright I'm getting up now.'

I woke up to my wolf whining to go for a run. As I opened my eyes I realized that I wasn't in the hospital anymore but I was in Steve's bedroom. I kicked off my blankets and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After getting dressed in a pair of leggings and baggy sweatshirt. I walked out of the bathroom to be meet with a girl sitting on steves bed.

'Why is she on mates bed?'

'I dunno, she could be a friend or a sibling. I'll just ask her nicely.'

"Ummm, hello. I'm nicole." U walked and stretched out my hand for her to shake it. Instead she just looked at me with a frown. "Don't touch me you whore. You may have tricked steve into thinking your his mate but he's mine. I'm his mate and im going to be the luna. A slut like you isn't fit for the position."

'WHO THE FUCK DOES THIS BITCH THINK SHES TALKING TO'

'I'm not sure but she must be a Jessica for this pack. She sure as hell looks like her from the clothes she's wearing.'

"You couldn't have him even if you tried. Steve is my mate and there's nothing you can do about that, no matter how many times you try and spread your legs for him. I'm his mate and he is mine, go find your own and leave mine alone." I said between clenched teeth as venom dripped from my words.

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR TALKING TO SKANK!!!" And with that her eyes turned black as her wolf took over as she lunged at me and shifted mid-jump.

I quickly ducked as her head rammed into the wall that was behind me. I then took in the size of her wolf because it was so small and I couldn't help but laugh. After a few moments she started to stand up on her paws and shake her head from hitting it on the wall.

She turned around to me and started walking slowly towards me ready to pounce when the door swung open. I made eye contact with steve and he started to walk towards me when the whore who tried to kill me tossed herself into his arms. Extremely naked from shifting back into human form. Then a loud growl came from my chest on why this girl was touching MY mate.

Then I felt my heart shatter when she connected her lips to his.i felt tears swell in my eyes so I ran out the door and out of the house. Not even thinking twice, I shifted into my wolf and ran into the forest. Eyes blurry and burning from unshed tears.

'Why didn't he push her off?'

'It doesn't matter, he doesn't want us anymore.'

My wolf whimpered as I said this but didn't say anything and just kept running deeper into the woods.

Alpha Steve's p.o.v

'Let's go see if mates awake yet'

'Alright'

I left early this morning to deal with the packs paperwork. I wasn't exactly happy with leaving my mate in my warm bed, but I had duty calls to go handle. I started walking to my room when I heard yelling from my bedroom. I quickly dashed up the remaining steps and swung open my room door to reveal my mate.

'She's so beautiful. HURRY AND TOUCH HER!'

As I took a step forward, I didn't notice Riley until she tossed her arms around my neck. While she was naked at that.

'GET THIS BITCH OFF US. MATE IS LOOKING!!!!'

A loud growl erupted from the room. Then when I looked at nicole her eyes were completely gold with red flakes in the outskirts of her pupils.

She looked so deadly yet so absolutely beautiful. I was caught dead in my thoughts when Riley pressed her lips on mine and shoved her tongue inside my mouth. I felt so disgusted and completely in shock.

'NOOOOO, MATE COME BACK PLEASE. STEVE YOU FUCKING IDIOT GET THIS WHORE OFF OF US!!!'.

I aggressively pushed Riley off of me and turned towards my running mate, intending on running after her. But I was stopped by Riley who grabbed my wrists.

"Let that skank run. She was never fit for the luna position anyway.""Don't touch me you whore. And don't ever disrespect your luna ever again or you will be out of this pack.""what?!?!why?!?! IM supposed to be the luna. IM supposed to be your mate. YOU'RE supposed to love ME not HER. I thought you felt the same way. She's weak and unfit. I'm better than her in everyway. Think about the pack, we could be the strongest pack together. But with her this pack won't go anywhere near where it can go."

'Steve.Let.me.out.i will fucking kill this bitch for what she said about my mate.'

'Fine. But don't kill her. But hurt her in the worst ways possible.'

'Alright.'

I let jordan take over while still keeping human form. "Don't you ever dare even think about my mate like that. She is perfect in everyway. Never in your dreams will you even be close to how fit she is to be luna. You are no longer allowed in this pack. If in the next 10 minutes your are still on pack territory I will not hesitate to send my warriors to take you to the cellars,and torture you until you die."

"NOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO ME!!"

"I, alpha Steve king, reject you, Riley simmons, from the black rivers pack."
