Hi!

This chapter is very drama full and goes by fast. There is slight kissing scene. Thank you very much. Almost to 100 views! Picks up exactly where the last chapter left off

I fumbled through my drawer and pulled out a green sweater and regular jeans, also reaching for my fake geek glasses.

As I was taking off my shirt, the door cracked open.

I saw the open door through the reflection of my mirror, I caved to cover my body.

It was Hayden.

"Sorry...sorry," he mumbled, but he didn't look away, "didn't think you would actually change."

I was going to ask him to leave, but before I could, he made his decision to stay.

Still only in my bra and my short shorts the boy moved swiftly to the open bean bag.

I said earlier, that we had a date. A date. Not him seeing me without my shirt.

"Uh..."I said awkwardly, holding in my stomach to seem as thin as possible, as I tugged the sweater over me.

Tense, I gently sat on my bed, panning my hands around me.

"Hi," I greeted.

"So, the pink haired girl...where is she?"

I scoffed, "probably with her baby."

I know I shouldn't have said that, but I didn't want to answer any more questions.

"Baby?" he rose his eyebrow.

"Yeah, she did it with some punk from school. She moved, haven't seen her since."

He nodded, but didn't seem to understand.

"Are you single?" he asked, abruptly. My cheeks tinged a rose color as my hands became all clammy. Did he seriously just ask me that?

Was he thinking of asking me out again?

"Yes....why?" I asked, suspiciously.

He shrugged, "No reason. Just thought we may hook up."

I rose my eyebrow, trying to rationalize what he just said.

Wasn't he just hitting on my ex-best friend.

"Pardon me?" I tried to sound both 'hard to get' and compliant.

Shrugging he said, "Why not? A) You're cute-ish B) I don't get to see girls that often. C)it's cliche and last but not least: I think we should."

My mouth hung agape. Was he seriously resurrecting this? He was messing with me, this was all some plot. I knew it was, his obvious tone hid no lies.

He needed me to do something.

Maybe he was trying to figure out where Emmarie lives?

Or maybe he just wanted a thrill.

I wanted to shake my head and tell him to leave, but I didn't.

I let him sit in the silence for a few seconds, leaving him to his thoughts.

"Why? What are you playing at?" I snapped, but there was still a certain pleasure in his offer.

"Just stop talking," he whispered, leaning forward.

I could go into the details of what happened next, but in the end it meant absolutely nothing.
