Singe's POV
We would like to see the files for girls and boys from ages 5 to 16 please! "Right away ma'ma." John said. When he came back from the filing cabinet he gave us several Documents one of a boy named Mike Peters who was 11, a set of identical twins both boys who were 16, Austin and Robert Simpson and a girl named Samantha Smith age 5. There are four documents and We only want to start off with one kid so I give the twins files back even though it broke my heart. "Why are you giving me the files back you haven't even read them yet?" John asked sounding confuse and a little hurt. "We don't want to split up the twins. And we wanted to foster and eventually adopted one child, for now anyway." I said.Jack/Seán POV
When Singe said that I could tell it hurt her. She didn't want to turn down kids that wanted to be in a family, but she didn't want to split up the twins either. I knew that she would get attached to the kids as soon as we read the files let alone when they walked into the room, so it was for the best. "Take a seat in the room down the hall in first door to your left." John said walking up the stairs. He's probably going to wake up the sleeping kids. I mean, It is almost 9:15. As John walked up stairs we went down the little hall and into the room. We got comfy and all then Signe put the files on the table and she piked up Mike Peters' file. "This one first?" She asked "Okay, Ya!" I was getting a little excited. "Ok so Mike is 11 years old and he has depression, insomnia, and has a blood dephitionsie." Signe posed and took a deep breath. I knew she was going to get attached to them as soon as she read the files. I was too.Signe's POV
"He's so li-" I stopped when I saw Seán face, he looked really upset so I gave him a hug. "It's ok Seán..... I know it's sad but we can do this. If everything goes well then we we'll be giving a little boss a home." I said wile hugging him. He seemed to perk up. "Let's get reading then!" Seán said jumping out of his chair, and the chair fell over with a big crash. "Oops...He he. I'll fix that..." he said blushing and rubbing the back of his neck. Seán picks up the chair and sits down. "You ready?" I asked "YEP!" Seán said like a giddy little boy. "Ok so Mike has been in system for 7 years, and he has hade 10 forever homes....they all had him for about 6 months....why would they give a little boy a forever home and then take that away from him?" I asked. Seán shrugged "I didn't know but that's not fair." Seán said. "Oh wait it says right here." I said pointing to the next line, Seán chuckled."it says here it's because they couldn't afford to keep his prescriptions filled. He takes blood thickener, prosaic, and some anxiety classes as well as a psychologist. Do you want to here his story?" I asked Seán. "Yes please!" He said "okie dokie! So Mike was 3 when his parents left him with a baby sitter to go to for a anniversary dinner when there was a fire at the restaurant and the building was lit up in flames....They never found Mikes mom and da-" I stopped reading at the site of a sleepy looking little boy poking his head out from behind the door frame with messy brown hair and green eyes, he was short and thin with rosey cheeks. He was wearing a blue sweater that was way too big for him and some black sweat pants. "Sorry for interrupting but I brought down Mike so you could meet him because his psychologist is coming over for an appointment in an hour." John said peeking in the door way. "That's fine we were done reading anyway." I said as We stood up to give the little boy a warm welcome.Mike's POV
I stood there as the man with the green hair walked up and crouched down in front of me and stuck out his hand offering a hand shake. "Hey, I'm Seán but you can call me Jack!" He said as we shook hands, then I realized how small my hands are compared to Jack's. Then a really pretty lady walked up from behind him and put her hand on his shoulder and he stood up and the pretty lady sat oh her knees. "Hi I'm Signe, would you happen to be Mike?" She asked, I nodded. "You don't talk much do you?" I shook my head. "That's ok we can get to know each other a different way....hmmmm........ OH! Do you draw?" I nodded "ok grate! Here take these." She gave me some note paper and three crayons in a box, like the ones you get at a restaurant. They asked me questions about me and I answered them. You know the regular stuff. Then they signed some papers, we waved goodbye and I went back upstairs to see little Sammy who was playing with the small plush potato she came here with. I sat down beside her and we started to play with the potatos we took from the kitchen. "Sammy?" She looked up, "I might be gone for a while ok? I'll come back though, like I always do alright?" I said, she nodded. The difference between me and Sammy is that I don't like to talk, but she was never taught and with her dyslexia she can't spell or read ether. I try to teach her but I don't talk much myself so it's hard to get her to understand. I hope she finds a forever home soon. I don't want her growing up here like I did.••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
