In The Lot

Signe's POV
"On the road again, can't ware to get on the road again!" Seán sang as he held the door open for me and Mike. I giggled and realized that a small hand found its way into mine. I stoped walking and looked down, there was my 11 year old foster son holding on to my hand and standing at the door way looking more nervous then he did when we first met him. He looked up at me with worried green eyes. "Is everything ok Mike?" I asked nervous that he might not be ready for a new family. "Are you going to give me back? Because I don't want you to, I really want this one to work out. I want to have a home other then the orphanage, I want a mom and dad." Mike said looking up at me with  tears starting to form in his eyes. I crouched down and pulled him into a hug. "We would never give you back. And that's a promise. Ok? The only reason we would bring you back here would be to visit or if you weren't happy with us and you would rather live here with John and Sammy. I said starting to tear up myself. "Ok ...M-.....' he paused for a second, "okay Signe. Thank you." He said as he hugged me back, he tried to call me mum.... but he wasn't ready... did he feel forced? I thought to my self still hugging him. "You don't have to rush your self, ok? You can call me mum or Signe, it doesn't matter to me, as long as your comfortable. It won't hurt my feelings, Take all the time you need." I said beginning to calm my self back down, when Seán crouched down and gave us a hug, "Come on you two, you're gonna make me cry too." Seán said, we all giggled and we wiped away our fallen tears and stood up. "I'm not crying, you are." I said smiling up at my amazing husband wiping the last of my tears away and trying to look as cute as possible. "Your so beautiful." Seán said giving me a quick kiss on my forehead. "Not as pretty as you." I said giggle and batting my eyelashes. "Heh heh Ok Signe, what ever you say." He said sarcastically, I lapped and mike was smiling up at us. "You ready?" I asked Mike, who was holding my hand again, he nodded. "Alright then, Let's go home!!! You ready soldier?" Seán asked Mike smiling, "Yes Sr!" Mike sad standing up straight and saluting like a soldier. "Alright then! Let's go home!" Seán said excitedly. (Not trying to be offensive, my aunt is in the navy so the salute means a lot to me)

Mike's POV
"Yes Sr!" I said standing up straight and saluting like a soldier, Seán gave me a smile. "Let's go home!" Seán said making me feel all giddy inside. There was only one other vehicle at the far end of lot, that wasn't Johns pickup truck, so I took a wild guess as to what car was theirs. All of a sudden I had a burst of energy, so i took off running as fast as I could to the far end of the lot As Seán ran close behind. I looked back a Signe was smiling and I realized how happy I was going to be in this family, and how much I hoped they would keep me. I have never cried in front of foster parents before, I seemed to be way too attached to this couple, more then I should be anyway. What if it's just hormones, am I just being naive and needy? I pushed that thought out of my mind. No, not now. Right now I have to think of Signe and Seán.

Seán's/Jack's POV
Mike started running and giggling witch made me giddy so I ran after him with this huge smile plastered on my face. I was so happy, this little boy is my son, this was meant to be. I hope he likes our home and his new room. He is so sweet, I hope he got that from John because he's an amazing person. I'm so happy Mikes my sun. "Mike rounds the final corner Seán running close behind! Seán's gaining! It's going to be a tie!' I said, commentating like a commentator would at a race. 'AND MIKE WINS!!!!" I yelled, picking him up from under his arms and put him on my shoulder "AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!! *insert crowd noises here*" Signe yelled and cheered. Mike started to laugh with us at our silliness as I put him back down, so we could get into our crimson chevy malabou (it's my favorite type of car(imagine up top)).

Mike's POV
When I reached the red-ish car I was suddenly was lifted off my feet and up onto Seáns shoulder. I started to laugh as Seán and Signe cheered as if I had won a race. "AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!! *insert crowd noises here again*" Signe yelled and cheered. We all laughed as Seán put me down and we got into the car to start our drive to there house. As I got in the back seat and buckled my self in, i thought about how Sammy probably didn't understand a word I was saying when I said goodbye witch made me giggle because of how much of a smol bean she was. "What's so funny Mike?" Signe asked giggling, witch was obviously contagious in this family because we were all just giggling like giddy little children. "Ya! Are you haven fun with out us?" Seán said in a pouty voice and crossing his arms playfully. "No, just excited to get to the house." I told them. It wasn't a lie, I am actually quite excited to see the house and hopefully to start a new life with these two. "THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?! FLOOR IT SIGNE!!!" Seán yelled scaring me a little. "Asher Jesus, Seán! We don't want to deffin him just yet! We haven't even left the lot yet you goof." Signe said laughing. "Oops! Sorry young one, how are your ear holes?" Seán asked smiling lookin a little guilty. "It's ok Seán, I'm fine."
I said smiling. "Ok, is everyone ready now?" Signe asked laughing as she spoke. "I am!" I said excitedly. "I have to pee..." Seán said giving a blank stare to Signe, who sent one right back. "Oh wait!.... I'm good let's go home now." Seán said and we all laughed at his silliness. By now we had been sitting in this lot for about 10 minutes just laughing like goof balls. Finally Signe pulled out of the lot and started to drive down the long paved road. The road to a new life.

That's a lot of people willingly reading my story! Even with my late update, thank you so much. School has been hell as usual but then, multiply that by 14 and that's my stress on the daily, but you aren't here to read my excuses I should have updated sooner and I apologize. I'm really sorry, I promised you guys a chapter and I didn't deliver and that's not fair to you. Hopefully I haven't let you down as much as I think I have, im surprised to see people still reading this. I hope you guys are having a good day/night.
