"Well look who it is? Ruth who holds the rotten truth. Ruth is a cheater. She cheats on everything even her life." Delilah says.
"Who's this cutie? Oh you must be the new kid. We are Delilah, Jessica, and Kat." They all say.
"Oh really? Can you do me a favor?" Bryson smiles.
"Your wish I my command." Jessica says.
"Can all three of you leave me and Ruth alone. You guys are really stupid. So you can spread nasty rumors about Ruth but again you can't bother to look at yourselves. Get a life." He says.
"Pathetic. Handsome but pathetic." Jessica says.
"Thanks but you really didn't have to do that." I say shyly.
"Hind1111i. I had to, your my friend." He says. I start walking to first period with Bryson. He starts walking in front of me as girls start admiring him and looking disgusted when they see me walking behind him. Out of the blue, Mike (one of Jessica's ex-boyfriends) steps in from of me and purposely trips me. In a distance I can hear those three white girls (who I call JKD) uncontrollably laughing. I start running to the janitors closet. I quickly open the door and see Kuya Robbie and Kuya Robin also hiding in the closet.
"Hoy, ano ang ginagawa mo?" I say surprised. (Hey, what are you doing?) Bryson quickly runs inside panting.
"Are you okay?" Bryson asks.
"Who do you think you are? Get away from her!" Kuya Robbie yells.
"Gago Ka!" Kuya Robin says. (Gago can mean jerk but for girls it would be gaga)
"Who are you guys to be talking? Sino ka?" He asks frustrated.
"Relax Bryson, these are my brothers Kuya Robbie & Kuya Robin!" I shout.
"Yeah and who are you? Is there something you're not telling us Ruth? Is this your boypriend-- I mean boyfriend?" Kuya Robbie asks.
"Hey one question at a time. He's my friend calm down." I say.
"Oh really? You haven't had friend ever since we moved. Maybe he's more than a friend? Ano?" Kuya Robin says (ano means what).
I grab Bryson's hand and lead him out of the closet. When we reached the outside the JFK was standing right outside the door. They all screamed at the sight of me holding his hand. I quickly let go but a part of me was longing to go back. Why can't I just have this all to myself? Bryson starred at me for the longest time and held my hand once more. It made me blush but I quickly ran to first period while gradually letting go.
