Chapter 5
Max stayed quiet for a while and then gave me a huge hug.
"I'm so sorry you had to pass through that.. I really wish I can take away those terrible memories from you.."
I smiled and squeezed him tighter "Thank you so much Max, You've been such a help
.I don't know what this house would be without you."
He slowly lets go ,staring into my eyes he says "No Denisse, thank you for telling me this.. horrible story,must've brought back a lot of bad memories to you"
I shrug "it's ok .. I don't mind telling you .. I trust you"I say smiling
He smiles widely and gives me a quick hug.
We stayed in my room, doing idle talking and laughing, eating cookies
A few minutes later, We hear a knock on the door
"Come in!" I say as I look at Max then at the door
Sasha pops her head in first and then opens the door the full amount.
"Uhh don't mean to interrupt guys but foods ready." She says smiling
I drop the tray with cookie crumbs and two empty glasses on my bed and jump up.
"Alrighty lets go ...even though I don't think I'm not hungry now haha ..Thank to Max."I say with a teasing smile looking down at Max.
He starts laughing and says "Hey I was trying to cheer you up .. And it's worked so ... He sticks out his tongue at me.
I smile and stick my tongue at him and I start walking towards the door as I feel Max walking behind me and Sasha laughing,still holding the door.
We head for kitchen and we see everyone ,The Babes and Briana sitting at the table.
"Hey Denisse I thought you fell asleep.. you've been in your room for 3 hours" Nick called loudly on purpose to annoy me as I entered the room
"Ha-ha" I said sarcastically and then I started laughing for real
"No Spicy for 2 hours I was alone in my room and for 1 hour I was hanging out with Max.. so no I'm not dead yet, if your wondering"
I said with a teasing smile,walking over to a cabinet and grabbing two plates and handing one to Max.
Everyone starts laughing but Nick laughs the loudest."Good good, gotta protect my roommates the best way that I can you know" he shows a great bright smile and I return the smile back
"Anyways.. What's the food?" Max says changing the topic.
"Spaghetti!" shouts Beau in a Italian voice.
Everyone starts laughing loudly and I hold me stomach laughing.
I start serving myself and then I turn to Max who us waiting for me the finish
"...Max do u want me to serve you"
"mhm.. oh no thank you I'm a grown man I can serve myself thank you though"he says smiling
"Alright suit yourself, grown man "I tell him with a teasing smile.
We all sit in a table of 8, eating and having fun.
Then my phone vibrates.I check it and it's a notification that Miami Heat,the basketball team won a game against the Denver Nuggets. I put a huge smile on my face when Karpy calls me.
"Denisse what's the smile for?"
"mhmm? oh haha sorry ummm I'm just really happy that Miami Heat won today.. "
"Ewww!! " I hear Nick say loudly and I turn my head to look at his disgusted face.
"And may I ask what's 'ew' Spicy? "
"The Heat are the worst man!"
".. and that's why they've won the NBA Championship 2 years in row."
All the boys shouts "Ohhh" at my response and everyone starts laughing including Spicy and I
"Dude" I say after the room gets quiet.
"you know I'm playing around ,I'm a teasing girl.. almost all my sentences have a bit of sarcasm in it" I say laughing in the end.
"I know" Spicy stands up from the table and comes next to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Your just too fun to mess around with" and puts the plate in the sink.
Everyone was laughing and then we all go to the living room to mess around and enjoy each other.
Around 9 Briana comes next to me and whispers "Hey Denisse we need to talk.. "
Then I start whispering too and answer "Yeah what's up"
"Well it's about Sasha.. since we got here she's been saying 'Max is so cute' but after dinner she had been quiet.. did something happen between you and Max?"
"No, absolutely nothing Bri.. do think you think that's she's jealous? "
"Seems like it girl .."
Hello guys.. uh sorry about the Super Duper delay I'm trying to get used of writing and updating every week but then again, it's hard.
I cant pinpoint the next chapter but I will write it..
