When I saw Jim, I immediately wiped the tears from my face. Morph and Petunia were by him, looking at me sadly. I didn't want anyone to see me like this.

"Hey," I sniffled.

"Come on. Let's take care of that scratch on your face," he said.

He sat beside me after finding some first aid stuff and started cleaning my wound. We sat there in silence for a while.

"How much did you hear?" I finally asked.

"All of it. Silver's plan, you standing up for me, and especially that you're in love with me. Are you really?" Jim responded.

"Well, yeah. I realized it last night when I sang to you. But how can you feel the same way when I've known about the mutiny for the whole voyage, even though I wanted nothing to do with it? I could've easily told the captain, but no. I could be in as much trouble as Silver if he gets caught," I explained.

"Well, I'm gonna tell you what a girl who loves me told me. She said and I quote, 'You don't need to blame yourself if it wasn't your fault.' Besides," Jim said, kissed my cheek, then added, "I'm in love with her too."

I was shocked. Even after everything he just heard what everyone said? I looked at him, a little confused yet happy.

"Y-You are?" I said.

"Yeah. I have since last night when I caught you. I haven't felt this way about anyone until now. I don't care that you knew about this; you didn't want any part of that. We need to tell the Captain about this now," he replied.

"Yeah. Let's go," I agreed.

We started running up the stairs with Morph and Petunia flying behind us until Silver showed up at the top. We were shocked to see him and he was shocked to see us.

"Jimbo. Cyborg," he said.

He looked over and smirked as he approached us. Jim and I started backing up and he protected me.

"Playing games, are we?" Silver asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, we're playing games," Jim replied, glaring.

I grabbed a pair of scissors and held it behind my back as I quietly whispered, "I got this," which he nodded in response.

"Oh I see. I was never that much good at games. Always hated to lose," Silver continued, holding his hands behind his back; I knew he turned his hand into a gun.

"Hmm. Me too!" we yelled as I shoved the scissors into the pump of his mechanical leg.

He screamed as Jim grabbed my hand and we ran out of the dining room then into the captain's room. We shut the door and locked it, breathing heavily. The captain and doctor looked at us like we were crazy.

"SILVER IS LEADING THE CREW WHO ARE REALLY PIRATES AND THEY WERE PLANNING TO TAKE THE TREASURE FOR THEMSELVES AND TAKE OUT ANYONE WHO GETS IN THEIR WAY!" I explained all in one breath.

"What?!" Delbert exclaimed.

"And you know this how?" Amelia asked.

I hesitated before I answered, "I may have known about what he was planning, but I swear I didn't want any part of it."

"Treason! Why should we believe you?" Amelia yelled.

"Because I overheard her talking to them and she was the only one who didn't want to go through with it. If you believed her when she talked to you about Mr. Arrow, then you should believe her now," Jim said.

I gave Jim a smile that said, "Thank you" and he returned it. The captain thought about it for a minute and finally tossed me a gun.

"You better tell us everything you know about this," she warned.

"I promise," I assured.

"Pirates on my ship, I'll see they all hang. Doctor, familiar with these?" Amelia continued, tossing the doctor a gun.

"Oh, I've seen...well, I've read," he started, accidentally firing the gun and destroying a lamp, then added, "Um, no. No. No, I'm not."

Amelia rolled her eyes.

"Mr. Hawkins, defend this with your life," she ordered, tossing the map to Jim.

But before he caught it, Morph and Petunia snatched it.

"Guys, give me that!" Jim demanded, tugging the map.

"Morph! Petunia! Let go!" I yelled, pulling on the shape shifters.

They finally released and Jim put the map in his pocket. We noticed the door with sparks coming from the other side. I grabbed my gun and blasted a hole in the floor.

"Come on!" I said.

We jumped in and ran for the long boats, but it didn't take long for the pirates to barrel in after us. We made it to where the long boats were and the captain slammed the door and used her gun to seal it shut.

"To the long boats quickly!" she commanded.

We made it in as Amelia opened the hatch then got into the boat. But Morph and Petunia got the map from Jim's pocket and started flying around with it and tossing it to each other.

"Guys! No!" Jim yelled.

"Are you kidding me?!" I shouted in frustration.

We jumped out of the long boat as the pirates started coming in. Jim went after Morph and Petunia while I helped hold the pirates off. And I was pretty good at it for a first timer. The captain and doctor joined too, even the doc got a really good shot, shooting a large piece of metal that broke some wood pirates were standing on and they fell through the hatch.

"Did you actually aim for that?" Amelia asked.

"You know, actually, I did," Delbert said.

"Nice shot!" I complemented.

Then we ducked to avoid the blasters. I noticed Silver closing the hatch. Crap. I kept shooting at the pirates.

"Doctor, when I say 'now', shoot at the forward cable. I'll take this one," Amelia commanded.

"No, I've got this one," I said.

"What? Why?" the captain asked.

"Just trust me. No questions asked," I answered.

They nodded as we kept fighting them off and I heard Jim and Silver trying to lure Morph and Petunia to either one. But they dove into the ropes instead. When Silver tried to retrieve the map, Jim got it first and ran back to the long boat. I even saw Silver get his cannon and aimed it at Jim, but he hesitated.

"Now!" Amelia commanded.

She and I fired at the cables and they escaped, but I stayed where I was.

"Jamie!" Jim yelled when he figured my plan as the boat fell.

"Don't worry! I'll be fine! Just go!" I shouted.

He tried to get back to me but the pirates grabbed me, took my gun, and dragged me up the stairs to the deck where Grewnge was about to shoot them.

"No!" I screamed.

"Hold your fire! We'll lose the map!" Silver shouted.

But it was too late; he fired and there was nothing I could do to stop it except try to warn them.

"Watch out!" I yelled.

The blast, however, hit the boat. I gasped in horror as the boat started to crash.

"Take her to the long boats. We'll deal with them when we get down there," Silver ordered.

They gave him my gun and shoved me back down the stairs towards the long boats. This can't be happening.
