I'm doomed. The pirates have kidnapped me and I don't know if the others are alive. I swear if they're not, then those pirates were gonna pay. They basically threw me in the long boat as they all managed to get in. Silver, Scroop, and I were on the front end. We then departed the ship and headed for the planet.

"You betrayed us, Cyborg. You're gonna suffer the consequences, lass," Silver said sternly.

"Who betrayed who? I never wanted to deal with your little scheme in the first place. You betrayed me, you betrayed the captain, the doctor, Morph, Petunia, and you've especially betrayed Jim. Oh and by the way, you still claim you haven't gone soft? I saw you hesitate to fire your cannon at him. You didn't want his blood on your hands, so let me repeat the question: Who betrayed who?" I responded.

Silver just glared at me. If looks could kill, I'd be dead right now.

"Scroop, teach this lass some respect when we land," Silver ordered.

"With pleasure, Captain," Scroop smirked.

Once we did so, one of the pirates held me tightly as Scroop started punching, kicking, and clawing at me. I know I've been through worse, but that didn't seem to matter right now. Once he finished, I was bleeding from his claw marks and bruised from head to toe from his blows. I hated it, but better me than Jim. I'm just lucky I can heal fast. They gagged me and tied my hands behind my back.

"Hey fellas! We're over here, fellas!" a voice I didn't recognize exclaimed.

Silver grabbed my arm as he approached it. I saw this robot dodging the pirates' blasts. Then he was pulled down by someone and they shot back. It was Jim! He survived the crash! I was happy, but I didn't know about the captain or doctor.

"Stop waistin' your fire!" Silver commanded and the pirates obeyed.

Silver dragged me up with him as he held a white flag and approached towards their hideout.

"Hello up there! Jimbo? If it's alright with the captain, I'd like a short word with ya. No tricks, just a little palaver," Silver insisted kindly.

He continued to force me up the hill with his flesh hand and used his mechanical one for support since his mechanical leg was punctured because of me. I watched Jim come down the hill. Silver shoved me on a rock a mere five feet from where they were gonna talk.

"Stay there," he commanded.

I sat there as Morph and Petunia buzzed around Silver and he greeted them both warmly. Jim looked at me with a concerned face.

"You okay?" he mouthed.

I nodded, but kept my head down. Even though he didn't blame me, I still felt responsible for this. This really sucks. Silver sat on another rock, trying to fix his leg a bit.

"Oh, this poor old leg's downright snarky since that game attack we had in the galley, eh," Silver chuckled, trying to make a joke.

But Jim and I looked at each other, disapprovingly of him. He just sighed and continued.

"Whatever you heard back there, at least the part concerning you, I didn't mean a word of it. But that blood thirsty lot thought I'd gone soft. They'd have gutted us all, even Cyborg," he tried to convince Jim.

Jim still didn't phase from what Silver was telling him. I slowly started moving the gag from my mouth, little by little.

"Listen to me, if we play our cards right, we can both walk away from this rich as kings," he bargained.

"Yeah?" Jim looked like he was giving in; he can't be serious.

Silver chuckled as he continued to say, "You get me that map and an even portion of the treasure is yours. Plus, if you and Cyborg really love each other, I'll let yeh have her."

He held his hand to shake, but I knew he was tricking him when he threw me into the deal. I finally removed the gag.

"No. Don't do it. It's a lie," I said.

Silver glared at me but quickly went back to holding his hand, expecting Jim to give in. Jim just shook his head.

"Boy, you are really...something. All that talk of greatness, 'light coming off my sails.' What a joke," he started, circling Silver.

"Now see here, Jimbo," Silver replied.

"I mean, at least you taught me one thing, 'stick to it' right?" Jim continued as I smiled through his speech then added firmly, "Well, that's just what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna make sure you never see one drabloon of my treasure."

"That treasure is owed me, by thunder!" Silver exclaimed.

"Well, try to find it without my map, by thunder!" Jim yelled, imitating Silver at the end of it.

"Oh, you still don't know how to pick your fights, do you boy?" Silver asked as he walked to me and dragged me towards Jim.

He threw me to him (after I stole my gun back) and Jim untied the ropes from my wrists then I took my gag off that was around my throat since I moved it from my mouth.

"Now mark me. Either I get that map by dawn tomorrow, or so help me..." Silver started.

He turned his hand into his gun and shot my good leg. I screamed in pain, dropped to my knees, and gripped my leg.

"Jamie!" Jim shouted and got down to my level to check the wound.

"...the next shot won't be so forgiving. Plus, I'll use the ship's cannons to blast you all to kingdom come," Silver continued, not phased by what he just did.

"You did this to your own daughter?! She may not be by blood, but you raised her! How could you do this to her?!" Jim shouted while I tried to remain calm so I didn't lose any more blood.

"Some things require sacrifice. Now bring the map tomorrow," Silver said, starting to leave, then added, "Morph, Petunia, hop to it."

But they didn't move, being too scared as to what just happened.

"NOW!" Silver screamed, but the little shape shifters just squealed and hid behind Jim.

He grumbled as he limped back to the pirates. Jim helped me to my feet and supported me as we walked back to the hideout. Every step hurt like crazy, but it didn't hurt as bad since Jim was there. I'm glad he's there for me when my dad turned on me.
