"Thanks!" Jim yelled up to me.

"Don't thank me yet! We still have to get out of here!" I shouted back.

Just then we saw Silver reaching out to us, but his mechanical hand was a clamp that held the ship. It stretched to where he could do both. Jim started do the same thing I did to rescue him, but he tried to grab Silver's flesh hand. Morph and Petunia must've told him.

"Reach for me now! Reach!" Silver yelled.

"I-I can't!" Jim said, struggling to do so.

The ledge I held onto went into the wall, causing us to fall a little further. I screamed until I grabbed another.

"Cyborg! What about your wings?!" Silver asked.

"They can't...come out...when I'm under...extreme pressure or fear!" I answered.

"Wings?" Jim replied.

"I may have forgotten to mention that. Sorry," I responded.

The ledge continued to go further into the wall and we tried to get to the other side.

"Oh blast me for a fool!" Silver shouted.

We about fell again until Silver grabbed Jim's hand in time. He pulled him up then Jim pulled me up and I embraced him. I looked at Silver and gave him a grateful smile. When we parted, Jim did the same thing. We looked at the ship which exploded once it hit the laser beam. We made it to the portal and jumped through.

"Silver, you gave up the-" Jim started.

"T'is a lifelong obsession, Jimbo. I'll get over it," Silver answered.

I chuckled then heard B.E.N. call out, "Aloha, guys!"

We looked up to see the RLS Legacy above us.

"Hurry people. We got exactly two minutes and thirty four seconds till planet's destruction!" B.E.N. added.

After looking at each other, Jim and Silver hoisted me on their knees to get me up on the ship, but it smacked onto the ground. Delbert must be driving. They tossed me up and I landed on my feet. I turned back to help Jim up then we pulled Silver on board.

"Cap'n! Yeh dropped from the heavens in the nick o'-" Silver started.

"Save your claptrap for the judge, Silver!" Amelia said.

Silver chuckled nervously. Pirates would be put to death after being taken to prison. I understand he may deserve it for what he did, but Silver has been my only family for the past twelve years. I don't want to see him die, even after all the things he's done. As we continued to leave the planet, a chunk of it crashed into the mast and fell on deck, breaking some machinery. This made the ship slow down and lose altitude.

"Mizzen sail demobilized, Captain! Thrusters at only thirty percent capacity!" B.E.N. reported.

"Thirty percent? That means...we'll never clear the planet's explosion in time!" Delbert gasped.

We won't make it out of here? We could die here? I was so deep in thought until Jim spoke up.

"We gotta turn around," Jim said.

"What?" Amelia responded.

"Huh?" I added.

"There's a portal back there. It can get us out of here!" Jim explained.

"Pardon me, Jim, but didn't that portal open onto a raging inferno?!" Delbert yelled hysterically.

"Yes, but I'm gonna change that. I'm gonna open a different door," Jim continued as he started working on some device.

"Captain, really, I-I just don't see how this is-" the doc hesitated.

"Listen to the boy!" Silver interrupted.

"One minute and twenty nine seconds till planet's destruction!" B.E.N. addressed.

"What do you need, Jim?" Silver asked.

"Just some way to attach this," Jim answered.

"Alright. Stand back. Stand back now!" Silver said as he turned his hand into a blow torch and fused the metal and thruster together.

Like a solar surfer! Morph, Petunia, and I helped them lift it on the railing and I got on it with Jim.

"What do you think you're doing?" Jim asked.

"Coming with you. Remember, we either leave together or stay together," I reminded him.

"Take her with ya. She's tougher than she looks," Silver agreed.

"Alright. Okay, now no matter what happens, keep the ship headed straight for that portal!" Jim said.

"Fifty eight seconds!" B.E.N. replied.

We looked at Silver and assured him we'll be okay. I gunned on the thruster and we launched towards the portal. The chunks of planet were coming from everywhere, but we made it through them easily. Anytime the thruster would stop, I would step on it hard and it would go again. But when it stopped again and I stepped on it, it wouldn't work.

"Uh, Jim, we got a problem!" I yelled.

I continued to step on it but nothing happened as we plummeted in one of the cracks towards the lava river below.

"No! No! No!" I screamed.

Jim gently grabbed my face and said, "Jamie, it's okay. Try to be calm so we can fly out of here."

I nodded and closed my eyes. I held onto Jim as I took some steady breaths. Then the familiar pain in my shoulder blades started returning and I screamed as huge, white angel wings appeared. I held Jim as we made it to the top and saw the ship above. When we got closer, I held Jim by his ankles for him to press the location while B.E.N. started counting down.

"7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2!..."
