I'm in a nice dinner dress.

"Just text him already!" Ashton groaned in annoyance and Luke glared.
"It isn't that simple. What do I use? Hi or hey? Do I text a joke? What if he doesn't like it? Can I text hi with a winky emoji?" Luke ranted off and Ashton just rolled his eyes at the blonde boy.
Luke had been staring at Michael's contact in his phone for a good thirty minutes now and he didn't want to sound lame. He looked at it once more and frowned. He just wanted the older bleach blonde boy to like him as much as he did him.
Finally Luke went with, "hello it's Luke."
"Fucking finally!" Ashton exclaimed and Luke snarled as he felt his phone vibrate.

I have to practice later on, but yeah :)Ashton scoffed. "I thought you were going bowling with Cal and I tonight?"
Luke rolled his eyes. "And watch you two be lovey dovey? No way!"

Cool. Anything specific you wanna do?From: Luke
Well I was supposed to go bowling with Ashton and Calum today (my roommate and his friend) so you could join? From: Mikey
Of course buttercup. Meet me at the coffee shop on campus in 10 xxLuke's stomach fluttered with butterflies at the nickname 'buttercup' and the two kisses at the end.
"You look like a fourteen girl whose crush just asked her out." Ashton stated blandly and Luke shoved him off his bed. "Why do you keep doing that?"
Luke smirked, "because you're annoying."
Luke actually thoroughly enjoyed Ashton's presence and Ashton felt the same with Luke. It was a mutual love/hate relationship, but more towards the love. Luke was always more than happy when Ashton invited him to a party that Calum and him were going too even though he always declined. It made him feel like Ashton cared and Ashton did. Ashton felt as if he wasn't so head over heels for Calum, he'd definitely be for Luke. Although the thought did kind of creep the boy out because he did think of Luke as a good mate as well as he could be something potentially more. There was no denying to Luke and Ashton that they did find each other somewhat attractive but the thought of them being together made their skin crawl. They were good with the relationship they had now. Love/hate.
Ashton got up as well as Luke, getting ready and heading out the door. Each in band shirts, black skinnies, and converses. Although Ashton had on glasses and Luke had on a gray beanie.
As they walked across campus in silence, Luke took a moment to take in the scenery. It wasn't quite cool outside so the breeze was warm and the trees were still a bright green. The campus buildings towered over them with a Victorian gothic vibe. The main part of the school used to be a house for the governor way back when, but when the mines dried up and there was little town left, he moved. That's where they get the name St. Joseph's. From the old Mayor Joseph Dandridge. However, someone saw potiential in the house and twisted it into what is now the college.
