Signe's POV
I don't have a single idea what is with me right now. Do I have a crush on... Sean? No no no no no! Signe, you just met him today so no you... don't...?
But just look at him. He's my love at first sight. His ocean blue eyes, his dyed green hair. He is the perfect one for me!
"So, um, Signe! What do you usually do when your sister isn't around or if she's busy?" Sean said. HIS EYES IM IN LOVE WITH THEM! UH WHAT...! SIGNE STOP THAT!
"Um... drink coffee, do speedpaints, watch Anime or Netflix, nothing much because I usually do the fun stuff with my sister. We are very close." I said.
"Good part is that she's a good player in badminton."
"At least I know how to multitask, by what I mean talk to you and watch Kristen."
"Hey! Helen actually said that there'll be a tournament next month I think"
"A tournament? MY SISTER'S FIRST TOURNAMENT THAT I CAN WATCH!!!! I should really go there! When's the exact date?!?!"
"Ok jeez! The coach will annouce soon enough."
"Awwwww! I really wanted to know though..."
"It's ok!"
I smile. Specifically at his smile. STOP SIGNE!
"Hey um... do you like puns?" I say.
"Of course" he says. Then I said "Well, you'll be UNDYING for them puns!!!"
Then Sean says, "HA! To be honest... you are very...PUNNY!!"
"WOW 😂😂😂"
And from that moment on, we told puns, stories and different other stuff until Kristen called me.
"SIGNE!" she said walking towards me with her racquet in her hand.
"Yeah?" I said. "Watch me play" she said in a playful way. "Pweez..." she said... with her cute eyes this time. She's 12, yet my lil sister can still distract me from saying an excuse.
"How can I say no to my lil sister?"
"YAY! Ok so for practice for the tournament, MJ and I will be playing against Helen and Marie. And thanks, dooftato, also known as Doof and Potato!" Then Kristen walked to the court, ready to play. I slightly laughed because my sister is very funny.
Me and Sean looked at each other. He says "Whoever's sister wins has to get your or my phone disabled."
"Fine!" I got into to much "disabling of phone" situations.
All the teammates surrounded the court and cheered for Marie, Helen, Kristen and MJ.
"GO MJ!! GO KRISTEN!!"
"LETS GO MARIE AND HELEN!!!"
"MJ AND KRISTEN FOR THE WIN!!"
"MARIE AND HELEN, KNOCK EM DEAD!!"
"WOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
The assitant coach, Billy (SCREW YOU BILLY!!!), was the referee while coach David said some stuff to the pairs on what they can improve on before playing.
Billy threw the shuttle up in the air to see whom it points to. It pointed to Helen and Marie. They took the first service. K smashes and the shuttle touches the court of Marie and Helen. Score for Kris and MJ. MJ takes the serve. Marie slightly hits the shuttle which makes MJ nearly trip because of getting it.
They played until the score was 18-19.
19 for MJ and Kristen and 18 for Helen and Marie. 2 more points for Kris. Cmon Kristen! Win this and I'll disable Sean's phone for more than a minute. *insert Flowey (not omega flowey) laugh*
More than 5 minutes have gone by and the score was 20-20. WIN THIS KRISTEN! YOU CAN DO IT!
Helen serves short but MJ lifts. But Marie is getting ready to smash. BOOM! Marie smashed but MJ didn't get it.
Kristen did. She lifted the shuttle to a drop and Helen didn't get it.
"YESSSSSS KRISTEN YOU DID IT!" I went to her hugging her while everyone was surrounding all the friends with compliments.
"Kristen, how are you so good in smashing?"
"Hey Marie! You're fit to be against whatever school!"
"MJ, you did an awesome job back there!"
"Nice one Helen! "
"WOOOHOOOO! YAYYYY!!"
I let go of Kristen and went back to Sean. "Phone, please" I said letting out my hand.
"Ok, ok. Here you go." he said giving his phone. "Ok. Now I'll go first and congratulate my sister." He walked past me as he went to Helen.
Guess what?!? I disabled his phone 5 times! YAYYY!!!
Sean came back and saw that his phone was to be unlocked after 30 minutes.
"Wow Signe!" he said.
"Your welcome! 😆"
I looked back and saw that the whole team was having a "Good luck" party for the tournament.
Eventually coach David told me that the tournament was in a month. And this was the first practice. On the next weeks, there will be different teammates competiting and practicing so the younger teammates can see how they play and develop.
At least he also said that Kristen's a thinking player. I'm happy for my dooftato.
30 minutes passed and the team was about to cool down. Me and Sean jist talked about random stuff while they were cooling down.
Once they were done, me and Sean just waited for Helen and Kristen to finish dress up in the bathroom.
"I had a nice time meeting you!" I said.
"Me too!" He says.
"So when's the next training?"
"Next week on Wednesday, same day as now. Starts at 2 pm, ends by 5 pm. At least its summer. We wont have to pick up our sisters at 6 pm."
"Oh really? Kris wont have time to do her homework."
"Wow, haha!"
Kristen and Helen were out the bathroom door.
"Ready to go?" Kris says.
"Um... yeah! See you next week Sean?"
"Yeah!"
We said pur goodbyes and went differents ways to the cars.
Once my sister and I were far enough, she says, "You like him."
This time I didn't persuade myself.
"Yeah! I do."
"HAHA! YESSS! SIGNE'S GETTING A NEW BOYFRIEND! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!
"Shut up, you potato!"
"Ok potato! Now cmon! I still have to choose the movie tonight!" She said grabbing me. Don't worry. I didnt trip.
And we both said, "GIRLS NIGHT! HAHAHAHAHA!"
And we rushed to the car.
(Time Skip)
We finished eating and now we will be watching "The Iron Giant". I liked Kris' choice of movie. By the end of the movie, we were both sleepy. We went upstairs and got into our PJs and went to sleep.
The last person in my mind... was the love of my life, Sean.
