Danny's POV
Go straight~
Turn left~
Run over there~
Following a voice in my head in a place and time I have never been in probably wasn't the greatest idea, but if I was going to find her then I would use all the help I could get.
Turn right~
This way Danny, this way~
Every time I listened, the voice got softer, getting harder to make out what it was saying.
Go down that ally way~
I hesitated. I remembered all those movies where the person goes down an ally and never returns.
Go down the ally way, Danny~
Then again, this isn't a movie, this is real life, during the Victorian era, where vampires were said to exist.
Danny, I won't ask again~
I wonder what monster she will be? Maybe a-
Danny, go NOW!~
WTH! It cut off m-
'Danny?' I heard a whispery voice say, 'Is that really you?'
Looking around, I ask "Who's talking?"
'It's me... can't you recognize me?'
"No... I can't even see you."
'Well, maybe this will help.'
At the end of the ally, I saw a pair of glowing eyes. They kept flickering between white and gold, but there wasn't really a face I could make out. As I stared, I noticed it had a thin outline, of a female, and out of every female I could think of, there was only one I actually wanted to see right now. She was the one that was always there, always understanding, even if I didn't tell her of my secret.
"It can't be... Momma?"
