The above artwork does not belong to me. It's a Sam dragon! Honestly I think you have to look up Danny Phantom fanart on Google images to really understand how weird this fandom is.

Somehow, Sam hadn't expected Danny to end up in a place called Happy Harbor, Rhode Island.

She, Tucker, Jazz, the twins, and Ford were sitting in a café, staring out the window at a giant mountain. None of them were quite sure why the boo-merang had decided to wedge itself in the mountain; Sam had some suspicions that it wasn't working at all. Come on. Rhode Island, of all places? Yet none of them could deny the fact that Ford and Jazz knew what they were doing, and that the tracker hadn't picked up on any other ghosts on the way. Despite the oddness of the location, there had to be a reason for it.

"So, we're going to assume that Danny is inside the mountain?" Tucker asked. He was gnawing on a steak, which wasn't surprising. "Why? How?"

Sam took a large bite of salad, incredibly hungry after the long drive it had taken to get there. "I don't know. The mountain must be hollow, I guess."

"Must be," Jazz agreed. "The boo-merang would just fly over it if he were somewhere else."

"But who has the resources to hollow out an entire mountain?" Sam wondered aloud. "Someone big's got their sights set on Danny, that's for sure."

Tucker swallowed the bite of steak. "I hate to be the one to say this, but maybe we should watch the mountain for a few days before barging in there. I mean, who knows what kind of people have Danny? Could be a secret organization, could be a mob of crazy fangirls. Either way, we've got to be prepared."

Same nearly choked on her lettuce. A mob of crazy fangirls? Then again, she had seen a Danny Phantom bra for sale once. Yeah, she'd take the secret organization over that any day.

"But we can't wait!" Jazz said. "Who knows what's happening to Danny?"

The redhead was usually cool and logical, but when it came to her brother's safety, that all went out the window. Although Sam hated to wait to find her . . . friend, she knew that whatever could defeat Danny could defeat them, at least if they weren't ready for it.

"We could ask around a bit, too," Mabel suggested. "Maybe someone has seen something."

"I don't think that's a good idea," Sam said. "The less people know about what we're doing, the better. If it is some secret agency, who's to say we don't accidentally talk to one of the agents?"

"Trust no one," Dipper muttered.

"Exactly," Tucker agreed. "Trust no one, in this situation, anyway."

Once they were done eating, the six of them made their way to the beach near the mountain, positioned close enough to some nearby hills to hide if necessary. For a while they just chilled out, stretching their legs. The summer air was warm, and everyone was sweating profusely. Well, except for Sam. She was simmering.

It was still early morning, around eight, when a tall, muscular boy in a black shirt appeared from the mountain. They barely had time to crouch in the grassy hills to hide themselves. One second the beach was empty, and then a perfectly disguised door in the stone of the mountain opened, and there he was.

He walked along the beach, breathing the fresh air. Upon closer inspection of the boy's well-built chest, Sam noticed a red Superman logo. Come to think of it, this kid looked a lot like Superman himself. Interesting, but not the kind of guy you'd expect to pop out of a secret lair.

Suddenly a girl with green skin phased through the stone, wearing a short blue cape and a white shirt with a red X, along with a skirt. Her feet were bare, and she ran through the sand to catch up with the guy, laughing. This was getting weirder by the second.

The two of them shared a quick kiss, the guy cracking a smile that Sam had a feeling he didn't wear all that often. The green girl linked arms with him, leaning into his shoulder. He did the same, making her stumble a bit, but she grinned and leaned harder until he almost fell. She grabbed his hands to stop him from landing on his butt, both of them laughing.

Sam felt like a creep. Glancing at the other members of her group, she noticed that everyone looked uncomfortable, and Dipper was blushing slightly at the fluffy scene in front of him.

All of them tuned in quickly when they started talking, though.

Sam had to concentrate hard to hear what they were saying. "Hey, Conner, Zatanna's shift just ended. You're up," the green girl told him.

He sighed. "Yeah, figures. I just thought I'd get some fresh air before being stuck in the surveillance room all day."

The surveillance room? What did they need to keep watch on? Sam hoped these two were about to give him some valuable information.

The girl smiled when he said, "Honestly Me'gann, I'd rather just stay out here with you than watch that ghost kid." He leaned down for another short kiss.

Sam's eyes were the size of dinner plates, and she looked to see that everyone else's were, too. Ghost kid? She turned back to the conversation when Me'gann spoke.

"Yeah, I know. We shouldn't have even brought him here in the first place. I guess it's too late now."

Conner sighed again, finally turning around and walking towards the mountain. "Yeah, I guess. We should probably head back before Zatanna kills me."

The couple walked arm-in-arm back to the mountain, leaving Sam and her small group with more information than they could have hoped to gain.

Hey readers! I'm updating more frequently, as promised. And the story is progressing now. Whoo-hoo!

So since only like two people wanted the fun fact thing or whatever, I decided to stick with the questions. But before we do that again, I wanted to try something I've been thinking about for a little bit. Since I never do the "I was tagged" things, I thought maybe you'd like a Q&A! I don't know how many questions I'll get, so keep in mind I may not get to yours.

RULES:
*Nothing inappropriate, please! I have some younger readers, and some who don't appreciate that kind of thing.
*With the exception of the above rule, you can ask me pretty much anything you want. It can relate to the story, or maybe you want to get to know me better. However, I might not choose that question to answer. It all depends on how many I get.
*If a ton of people are asking questions, don't ask me more than one or two. If there aren't many people asking, then hey, you can post more questions.
*Q&A closes when the next chapter is posted. I'll post a story chapter and a Q&A chapter at the same time so that the author's note isn't too long, and so that you don't mistake the Q&A for a story chapter and get disappointed.
*Please ask your questions on this paragraph only, not on any other paragraph or on the chapter as a whole! It will make them much easier to sort through.

I think I covered everything. Anyways, thanks in advance! And remember, if you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
