"Don't test me, Eliza," he whispered in my ear.


My breath hitched as my heart rate sped up. I was pretty sure he could hear my heart pounding in my chest.


I looked into those mysterious grey eyes. It was filled with so many puzzles with the pieces all scattered and missing. I could never solve them all.

"Tell me. Are you afraid of me?" he asked huskily. His minty breath fanned on my cheek and his grey pupils never left mine.


I shook my head slowly. "I am not." He titled his head to the side. He started to lean in until his lips were right next to my ear.


"Maybe you should be," he said. He then pulled away and left, leaving me speechless and very, very hot.
