It was Alex, the guy I met at the airport.

"Alex?" I wasn't sure if I was imagining things

He nodded his head and gave me a gentle smile

"Yes Meg"

"I can't" I said

"Believe it" He finished my sentence

I just stared at him. How was this even possible.

"Wait, how did you know it was me?" I questioned

"Well I am in your form class, and I literally just saw you scream at Mr. Bates" he chuckled at the event which just took place.

"Oh," I felt my cheeks heat up

"But, I mean, like I didn't even hear your name being called out in registration" I frowned trying to remember

He laughed "No. The teacher did call out my name." He told me

I was confused and I guess he knew because he continued to explain

"Well, don't hate me for not telling you this, but my name is actually Martin" He stated

"What?! So you lied to me?!" I felt knots in my stomach

"No, I didn't lie. My name is Martin Alexander Aiono. But people call me Alex, so whenever I introduce myself to someone I might as well say my name is Alex." he paused

"It saves people the confusion" he continued

"Oh, I see" I awkwardly said

"Wait!! You're Martin Aiono?" Omg!

"The one and only"

"Why" he then questioned

"You're my neighbour! O.M.G! You're mom" I said jumping excitedly

"My mum? what about her?" he asked with confusion written on his face

"Your mom, she came to my new house when we moved in. And we spoke andshesaidhowshealsohadasonwhoattendedOxfordschool." I gasped dramatically as I ran out of oxygen

"You spoke to my mum?" he slowly said

"I did. she's lovely" I complemented

There was a silence but not one of those awkward ones, the comfortable types of silences.

I kept looking up at Alex as he stared at his feet

His dreamy James Dean eyes captivated me every single time we shared eye contact. He silky hair, which I just cannot wait to pu-"

Wait! NOPE! NO WAY! I can't like Alex. I don't like Alex. But it wouldn't hurt if I did right?

I snapped out of my thoughts when someone with an ego bigger than my future begun speaking to Alex.

Jamie.

"Hey man" Jamie said high-fiving Alex

Hold up, they're friends? God no, please don't let them be friends!

They spoke between themselves before Alex said

"Oh, Megan, this is Jamie, my best-friend. Jamie Megan, my new friend" he said pointing as he introduced us.

"Oh, Alex dude! I already know this chick!" he said arrogantly

"You do!?!?"Alex practically shouted

"Yeah, she's my ex" he whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"Oh, well this is awkward" Alex said plainly

I have to admit Jamie wasn't a bad boyfriend, we sorta just grew apart. But after the break up...I saw a side to him that I never knew existed. He was so rude and he just changed I couldn't understand why. And I still have no idea why he treated me like that to this very day.

He still had those jade green eyes, those pink plumped lips and tho- hold up Meg, you can't like both boys it's wrong. But I do, do I?

AN// hope you guys enjoyed chapter 7. I'm thinking of writing another book after this one. It might be a book about my life and all the events which have happened. What do you think? or should I stick to fanfics?
