Megs PoV:
I woke up to the sound of beeping.
Everything was bright, and when I say bright I mean looking at your phone at night when it's on full brightness bright.
My whole body hurt from... well I don't really remember what.
"Megan DeAngelis"
It was this man, tall, white, brown hair, blue eyes.
"Megan can you hear me" he asks
I slowly nod my head since it kills
"That's really good, can you tell me what day it is?" He also asks
That's such a stupid question, of course I know... obviously that's not what I said out loud
"er, yeah, er, it's Wednesday" I cautiously answered
The man who I'm guessing was my doctor nodded his head and jotted something down on a folder looking thing.
"Great, how old are you Megan?" he questioned
Ugh, leave me alone already
"I'm 16" I managed a small smile
"Ok Megan, you took a pretty hard beating"
Oh, no way, really?
"And you have suffered from some minor injuries in your left wrist, right thigh and ankle, you also have some burn marks on the inside of your top and side lip"
"I have put you on strong painkillers and I have cleaned up all your wounds. However, due to your head injury I want you to take time off school and I want you to go back when you are fully recovered" He continued
"For now I would like you to stay in hospital for a 2 weeks and I'm going to be checking up on you every now and then, but for now rest well Megan, these nurses will take great care of you" He smiled and then left
There are so many questions I wanna ask but I cant speak. I think it's the burns.
Who could do such a thing? And why to me? What did I do? How could someone be so cunningly brutal?
I thought to myself as tears slipped out of my swollen eyes and as I lay there in the hospital ward alone.
AN// So I thought I would do a quick chapter.
Because I have exams coming up I can't do a lot of writing as I have been revising everything. So my chapters are going to be uploaded really slowly until mid June, when I finish my exams.
