Colby's POV

I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and dialed Savannah's number. I heard it ringing and quickly ended the call. "What am I doing?!" I asked myself. I quickly dialed her number again and actually let it ring this time. "Hello?" I hear Savannah's heavenly voice pick up on the other side. "Uh, hey!" I answer back trying to swallow the lump in my throat. "Hey Colby, why did you call me? You could have just sent me a text." "Yeah I know, I just... wanted to hear you for this. I was wondering..." Oh god I can't believe I'm doing this. "... if you'd like to go out sometime." "Oh uh... yeah, sure." "Great! Uh... how about tomorrow? At 8:00?" "Yeah that's fine by me." "Alright I've got to go now! See you tomorrow." "Yeah see ya!" I hung up the phone and fell back against the couch. I can't believe I just did that.

Today is the big day! I got up around noon. I wore a nice button up shirt and black skinny jeans. My black converse squeaked on the hard wood floor as I made my way to the front door. I ran to the store and picked up a bouquet of flowers. Then I went to a restaurant to book us a reservation. Luckily it was Thursday and there wasn't many people there. After that I went home and just hung around till it was about 7:40. I got in my car and drove to Reed's place. I held the flowers behind me and knocked on the door. Reed stood there with his arms crossed. "Hurt her and I swear to god..." "I wouldn't dream of it... come on Reed it's me we're talking about here." Reed shook his head laughing. Then Savannah appeared behind him. Reed shifted to the side and I seen her fully. She was wearing a beautiful floral dress that went down just above her knee. She was wearing black flats and her hair was ever so gently curled. "You look amazing." I said trying to catch my breath. "Ready to go?" She nodded her head and came out into the hallway. I held the bouquet out to her and she gasped. "Lilacs! These are my favorite!" She grabbed the flowers and smelled the wonderful smell.

"Wow this place is so not what I imagined." Savannah said. I looked around the Chinese restaurant, taking in the ancient wooden dragons. "Do you not like it?" I asked looking back to Savannah. "No! I love it! I just wasn't expecting it." Savannah exclaim as she turned in her seat. The waiter took our order and as we waited for our food we chatted about ourselves. "No but get this! When Sam tripped over his own feet I was dying of laughter and managed to trip too!" Savannah burst into a fit of adorable giggles. I laughed with her. When the waiter arrived with our food, we both dug in. "Mmm... these dumplings are super good." Savannah exclaimed as she wiped her mouth with her napkin. After dinner Savannah and I left my car in the parking lot and decided to walk for a bit. We looked at the glorious city lights. I walked beside her with my hands in my pockets. "Savannah I had a really nice time with you this past year. A lot of things happened and I feel like I can truly trust you. I just want to thank you, for everything." I looked at Savannah just in time to see her cheeks turn red. She smiles and looks up at me. "Colbs, I just want to say that..." Savannah's words get cut off by a loud horn honking at us. I looked toward the road and notice a blonde behind the wheel.

No! What the hell is she doing here?!
