I guess my cuts were starting to add up because I caught a customer staring at the marks on my arms, I quickly pulled my arm back, "is that all for you today ma'am?" I'd have to remember to put foundation on it next time I went out.
I woke up 6AM the next morning to my alarm playing "I Luv This Shit" remix by my baby August Alsina, I really didnt feel like going to school but it was my first day and I was just ready to get these last few weeks over with, I pressed snooze. When my alarm went off again I got in the shower then started going over my hair with my flat iron. I decieded on wearing a pair of hollister jeans, a plain white v-neck and my grape 5s. I did my eye makeup then headed downstaires.
Wayne was sitting at the island looking at his phone and eating a bowl of coco puffs. He nodded his head at me when I walked in.
"Nigga you're gonna have to change your shoes, I'm not tryna match your ass."
He noticed my shoes and started to laugh, showing me the cocopuffs he was chewing. "Hell nah, I got my outfit picked you needa change."
"Excuse me?"
"I know you look up to me and shit, but shit." He smirked.
"You're so annoying."
Walking into our new school, everybody noticed us. It was kind of annoying to me, but I could tell Wayne loved it by the way he smiled and waved back to all of the whispering hoes staring at and admiring him. I didn't think anybody would notice us because of how big the school was. But they definetly did.
In my chemistry class a guy sat down next to me, "Hey, arent you that new girl?"
"Yes. But i'd prefer Briana, not new girl."
"Oh, my bad. My names Tyrell."
All I did was smile at him then turn my attention back to the board. I had to admit, Tyrell was cute. He was probably 6 feet tall, darkskinned, and had his eyebrow pierced, but I wasnt thinking about pursuing any kind of relationship now.
I walked in my Algebra II class late and found an empty seat towards the front of the class. I saw Maurice, the guy with the gold car from the other day, sitting in the back with some girls and Darren. When I pulled out a notebook and was about to start on the problems written on the board, a ghetto looking black girl with singles in her hair and a big booty came and stood in front of my seat. When I looked up, mugging her, she was looking down at the marks on my arm.
Fuck, I forgot to cover them up.
"Um? Are you like, crazy?" She said with an attitude and popped her gum.
"Bitch what?"
"First of all hoe, you don't know me okay? I said, is your dumb ass crazy or something, maybe you're deaf too. You got all them cut marks on your arms and you can't hear me."
"No bitch, first of all, you better get out my damn business, you don't know ME. And i'm about to slap the fuck out of your ass if you don't get the fuck out my face bitch."
"You better be cool with that bitch word hoe!" She was getting loud.
"Or what bitch?" I wasnt scared of this hoe. She leaned in, getting closer to my face.
I leaned back. "Bitch back the fuck up! Your fucking breath stinks hoe!" I got out of my seat about to swing on the bitch when my teacher pulled me aside and the bell rang. The bitch mugged me and walked out, grabbing on Maurices arm.
"That wasnt even my fault! Did you see how that hoe walked up on me!?"
"I know Briana, I know. I'm not writing you up, I just didnt want you two walking out at the same time or fighting in my classroom! That girl wont be shit, and she isnt even passing this class so don't worry about her."
