Pete's POV
Betty and I were just cleaning the house/ house chores when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it" Betty said.
I made a grunt to symbolise ok as I can't be bothered saying it. Too lazy and 'Ain't Nobody got Time for That'. I heard the door open and heard her talking to someone. I assume neighbours greeting us or something as the other speaker was foreign to me. I decided to go greet them too.
"Hey, what's up. I'm Pete." I called out while shaking the couple's hands.
"It's so good to meet you. We are very pleased to have you here especially as our neighbours." they replied almost in unision which kinda freaked me out a bit.
Despite my feelings about them, Betty just gave a big smile and acted like it was natural.
"I actually didn't really have a positive feeling about this place but Betty seemed alright with it, so I'll just stick to that. Though, I sensed the kids and pets didn't like this place at first and still except Adam who seems to be digging into this environment or getting some of his mom's genes. I don't know." I wondered.
"Anyway, my name is Scarlet and my husband is Zayk. We have prepared a similar gift to both of you to share for life. Here is our gift" The woman answered.
"Thanks so much. I'm sure we will appreciate your present." Betty said cheerfully.
The woman started muttering strange words and she started floating. Her eyes turned white with a small red dot inside which looked like blood. Her skin turn wrinkly and shrivelled up like it was rotten. Her nose became pointy and her teeth became jagged, rigged and crooked. It also turned a dirty brownish yellow. Her nails extended to semi claws (like claws but shorter :b) A small black pointy hat appeared on her head which Adam knew immediately she was a witch.
Suddenly a red powdery aura seemed to descend from the ceiling and contacted with me and Betty.
"Hahah, there is no escape for you both now. You both are ours and soon will join the town to transform other foolish human mortals into them." Zayk exclaimed.
"In case you don't know what we mean, I'm a witch. Zayk's gonna turn into a vampire soon and the rest of the town are majority demons or zombies." Scarlet said.
Zayk then changed into a vampire. Fangs appeared out of his mouth, his nails into claws and a pair of demon bat wings burst out from his back.
Betty's POV
" I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing. I thought everyone here was all so kind. Sure, they looked different but it's not what is on the outside but inside. How wrong I was." Betty sighed accepting defeat.
Suddenly, two faint icons appear in front of her and in front of her husband, Pete.
A loud, deep and evil voice bellowed: "My faithful slaves. They are of a special breed of mortals like you were before. They can choose either one of these icons in front of them and that shall be their fate."
"Who said that?" Pete asked.
Scarlet answered bluntly: "It is our master, Death House. The very house you are staying in right now and morphing you both into a greater being"
