I lean against the wall and watch the sparring match. Logan goes down and Dean slams his arm down on Logan's throat, pinning him to the floor.
"Alright, that's enough." Blake says, and they get back to their feet. "C'mon Logan, you seem sluggish to day." he says and then two more get in the middle of the ring. A few hours ago Blake introduced me to his pack, of which I learned he is the Alpha. One by one I met the ones that were closest to Blake. Dean, Blake's right hand man, is the largest of hte other guys, blonde hair, blue eyes, and, from what I'm told, a real lady's man, but from what I see he's really snarky, in a good way, and all at the age of 21. Keith, one of the guys stepping into the ring, isn't as big as Dean, but still big and really cocky, has black hair and brown eyes, and he's also the jokester of the pack. He's one of the younger ones at the age of 18. Then there's Logan. Brown hair and beautiful green eyes, that I dare say might be prettier than Blakes, he isn't as tall as the some of the guys, but definitely has a better build, and at the age of 20, he's still just as sweet as can be. Something about him, makes him stand out more than the other two, and I don't really see him as being 20, he seems more like 17 or 18. These guys are the one's Blake calls his brothers. These are the three that accept me into their home with open arms.
There are some others, but they either pay me no attention, or stare at me with resentment. One of them stands out in my mind, a snarky over confident 17 year old guy named Austin. He talks like one of these days he's gonna challenge Blake for the spot of Alpha. I glance at Blake, whose eyes are closely trained on the matter at hand, and then move my gaze back to the floor. Keith slams the boy down with the slightest ease, and Blake gives a sigh at the rookies pathetic attempt. I walk over to Blake, but he gives me little attention, searching for the next two combatants. "Hey, I'm about to go." I say to him.
He looks at me, "Nooo, please stay?" he asks. I guess I got his attention.
"Well, you're busy, I get that, but I don't have alot of time for sitting around." I say.
"You could train with us." he suggests.
"Yeah, but I don't think I would get much out of it." I say back.
"What you think you're above us or somethin?" I hear Austin say from behind me. I turn around and see he's moved into the ring, wanting to be one of the next fighters.
I glance at him, and then look back at Blake, who seems to have the same question on his mind. I sigh, "I just don't wnat to hurt anyone." I say.
"Please, you couldn't take any of us on. You're just a pansy that's to scared to step into the ring." Austing spits at me.
I sigh and snap my fingers. I listen as Austin flies backwards and then hits the ground. "I'm sorry, but these guys are just to weak for me." I say to Blake.
"Oh, yeah! How bout you fight without your precious magic? Bet you couldn't even last five minutes with me then." Austin spits, getting back to his feet.
"Just one round?" Blake asks.
I bite my lip, "Fine, but I'm not holding back. If he gets hurt, it's not my fault." I say. I slide off my shirt, and shove it into Blake. I stand in front of Austin, and there's a certain look on his face, like he's got this in the bag. I stuff my hands in my pockets, knowing if I go all out he'd be down before the fun began. "Whenever you're ready." I say.
"And. Begin." Blake says.
In an instant Austin hurls himself at me. He punches and kicks, but I let him hit nothing but air. He moves to slow to keep up with me. Then I hold out my hand to one of his punches, and his fist makes contact. His punch did little more than bump my hand. I see his face, and he looks like he just punched a brick wall. I use my free hand to cover my mouth as I yawn, still a little sleepy, "Are you done yet?" I ask. His face flushes with rage, and I squeeze his hand. He lets out a little gasp, and I shove him down to the ground. "Now for the fun part." I say, letting my energy flow through my body. My marks spread all across my body and face, and I can feel my wings glowing and my eye change. Austin scrambles backwards, and looks like he just saw a monster. "I told you I'm not holding back." I say, taking a deep breath. I look at Austin, "What's wrong, Austin. You reek of fear." I say to him.
