Phantom was laying near the entrance to his ally when he over heard some people talking. He got up and got a bit closer.
"I can't wait for Halloween tomorrow." One of them said.
"I know right." The other said. "Dressing up, getting candy."
"Yeah." The first one said. "I just hope we don't run into any killer clowns."
"What is Halloween?" Phantom said to himself. "And what are killer clowns?"
Later that night, Phantom found a pair of raccoons.
"Hey." He said.
"Don't hurt us." The raccoons said.
"I just want to ask you a question." Phantom said. "You two live in the city right?"
"Yes we do." One of the raccoons said. "We've lived there for years."
"Do you know what Halloween is?" Phantom asked.
"Halloween is a time of year when people dress up in costumes, and go door to door asking for candy." The other raccoon said.
"Do you know what killer Clowns are?" Phantom asked.
"Killer clowns are just people dressing up like clowns and kill people." The first raccoon said. "It's a more recent thing, unlike Halloween which has been around for hundreds of years."
Later that night, Phantom returned to his ally.
The following morning was like any other morning.
"No one's dressed up." Phantom said to himself. "Maybe it's not Halloween today."
Phantom had no idea Halloween started in the evening.
