Phantom sat at the back of his ally, and watched the people who walked by. The sun was starting to set, little kids starting appearing. They were dressed in ridiculous clothes, going door to door saying trick or treat. Phantom wondered why they said that at every door, and he wondered what the adults were putting in their bags and baskets. He wondered why people would do all this, and why once a year? They also had pumpkins out on their porches, with faces carved into them and lights inside of them.
"Why would someone harm these pumpkins?" Phantom wondered. "What did the pumpkins ever do to them?"
Phantom saw someone carrying a green pumpkin, the kid was reaching in the pumpkin and pulling small colorful things out of it.
"Why would someone eat the guts of a green pumpkin?" Phantom wondered. "Its green, so it must be moldy, and pumpkin guts aren't supposed to be that color."
