James decides that whatever is in this house obviously wants him to do something so he decides to head to the study, as he is climbing the stairs he thinks about his life back before all this, he remembers his old childhood dog named Spencer, he remembers how he would always walk Spencer down this one street 5 blocks away from his house just so he could wave in the window at Jane, James really wanted to become friends but the one day he was about to go and introduce himself, she moved away, James learnt about
Jane from school, he wanted to work with her in class and sit with her at lunch but he was too shy, and then the one day he decided to finally “grow a pair” and go and talk to her, she left.
James reaches the study and steps inside, he closes the door behind him, he walks up to desk and sits down, the desk is blank but there is a drawer on the right of him, James opens the drawer and pulls out abfile of paper. The front page is titled “Gretch Manor - 1988” James opens up the report and starts reading, lights and sounds could be seen and heard from miles away, demonic sounds. All of this makes no sense to James, then all of sudden, as he is reading, he sees the word, Jane. James whispers “Jane” and all
of a sudden, he turns around and sees her, 14 years old, just as he remembers, just before she left, she is dressed in the same purple dress she always wore and has her hair up in the bun that she always had as well, he blinks in astonishment, he is speechless that he is seeing Jane, his school dream girl. James blinks again, she is gone, he sits there for a minute in amazement, “how is it possible that she is here? Let alone at the age that she left?” James says as he turns back to the desk and continues reading the report. Johnny Firksy local resident, has disappeared, last thing that he was known for was being arrested due to killing a woman during a demonic sacrifice, this woman was Jane Anderson. "JANE ANDERSON” James drops the report on the desk, his jaw drops as he re reads the words “ Jane" he can't believe what he is reading. All of a sudden the door violently swings open and suddenly, there is a harsh breeze in the room, it feels as if the temperature has dropped dramatically. All of the sudden, Johnny and Jessica walk in the room, they are wearing dark blue robes and are holding candles, it all makes sense to James now, Johnny must have been in a cult of some form and was an avid fan of demons, he then decided to do a sacrifice and sacrificed Jane. James suddenly felt a rush of anger at James for killing his teen sweetheart and launches towards Johnny attempting to tackle him Johnny simply places his hand in
front of him and James simply falls through Johnny like he wasn't even there, James manages to recover
and jumps to his feet, as he is getting up, he looks at Johnny and Jessica, they are both pointing at the desk, James eyes scroll across to the desk where the report is somehow opening on its own. James moves towards the desk cautiously making sure that he keeps an eye on Johnny and Jessica, he slowly lowers himself into the oak chair and pulls himself closer to the desk, James then begins reading
the report but occasionally glancing at the two cult members just to make sure that they are not trying anything.
