Jane

The Girl

James opens his eyes and he is laying on the floor of this giant manor, but he is nowhere he recalls, he is
somewhere different, he sits up and hears whispers and footsteps everywhere, it sounds like every
horror movie ever, He gets up and examines the room, around him is nothing, In front of him is a door,
that's it, He has no idea how or when he got here and he has lost all memory of what time and day it is.
He goes out of the room which is at the end of the hall and heads to the only other door, He steps inside
and he recognises this room because it is the exact same room that he woke up in, except, in this room is a
painting, a painting of the most beautiful girl he has ever seen, He notices that there is a spot next to
where the painting was that means that the painting was recently moved, James grabs the painting and
reveals a window that was behind the painting. “Hey, put that back” a voice says from behind him, James
turns whilst holding the painting and sees that the voice came from the painting, Wait no, he looks at the
painting and then looks up, It's the same girl. All of a sudden, everything goes blurry again and he passes
out. He wakes up, and finds himself in a bed. He gets up and walks to the window, he looks out and sees
darkness, he thinks maybe it's nighttime, but unlike normal, there are no stars, only red fountains circling
the house.
He sits in the room for what seems like an hour, during this timespan, it wasn't silent, it was loud, with
screams and banging. James hears the door unlock and jumps to his feet, he approaches the door and
quietly swings it open. On the ground in front of him is a piece of paper, it reads “I’m having a rest,
where you prepare for a test ~ J ” James thinks about an office or study. James cautiously heads out the
room and down the stairs, once at the bottom, he starts snooping around for an office of some sort,
maybe he will find Johnny?
