Chapter 28

Maya's P.O.V

It was finally the day of the party. I was scared and nervous, cause I didn't Riley. I really wish she was here. I miss, her so much. But who I really wanted here, was Lucas. I missed him. But I have to stop thinking about him, at least for tonight.

As the school ended me and my girl-friends went to Jessica's house to get dressed for the party. ''Okay,so Maya. What are you gonna wear?'' Taylor asks. ''Oh, umm. I was just thinking of going like this.'' I say, but before I can finish Jessica cuts me off to say ''Umm. No sweaty you're gonna wear one of my clothes. Okay cause this is a party and... '' I dazed out. Just scrolling over twitter. As I came across a tweet from Lucas, as I read what it said 'Love hangin' with my friends today. And everyday.' Huhh he's hangin' with Riley I can call them.

As I head outside Jessica's room I reached for my phone, and dialed Lucas number.

*RING*

*RING*

*RING*

He didn't pick up. I'll just call Riley. As the phone rings, she finally picks up.

''Hello, Maya!'' she says.

''Hi Riley, is Lucas there. I tried calling him, but he didn't answer'' it took a while for Riley to answer. But when she did she said he wasn't there. Why are they lying to me? Why is he? ''Look Riley i'm not stupid. I know he's there. So put him on'' I say kind of angry. ''Ohh...okay'' she says, feeling dumb.

As Lucas got on the phone I instantly start talking. ''You know Lucas if you didn't want to talk to me you should've just said so. Not pretend you're not hanging out with Riley and Farkle. Okay, and look I don't know what I did to deserve this, but whatever I did I bet it is stupid.'' I say starting to cry. He tried to reply but I hung up before he spoke. I went inside the room and told Jessica to pick anything for me. (Link To Dress In Story)

As we arrived to the party, you could everybody was drunk. There was people laying down on the grass, making out, dancing, grinding on each other. We entered inside Max instantly gave me a red cup. ''A drink for a beautiful lady.'' he says. ''Thank you'' I replied.

*4 hours later* (2am)

I was drunk, but not deeply. Taylor later pulled me in a huge circle, saying that they were going to play Truth or Dare. After, what seems like forever after all taking shirts off and stupid other things it was finally my turn. Some random kid told me to kiss Max. Huhhhh, yeet. I have a boyfriend but before I got to reply with a no. Max instantly crashed his lips into mine, I replied back, on a full makeout. I don't know why I think it was the alcohol. But I immediately stopped before it got any further. I ran out of the house.

I look back and saw Jessica and Max following me. ''MAYA!'' Jessica screamed. I stopped on my tracks. I thought she was going to say am I okay but instead she looked mad. As, she got near me she slapped me across my face. ''You slutty BITCH!! You know I like him!'' She walked back and after that I started crying everybody was talking about what just happened. I started walking to my dad's house. ''Hey Maya are you okay? Look i'm sorry'' As I turn around I gave him a slap on the face. ''Okay I deserved that..'' I cut him off ''ohh you deserve more than that'' I say then headed walking. ''Look Maya I can take you home. You can't go by yourself it's dangerous.'' I don't know what happened but five minutes later i'm hitting him, screaming at him. He pulls me apart from him. ''Hey, hey Maya calm down. Shhhhhh..'' I don't know what happened after that I just collapsed.
