I'm Not A Damsel(on hold)

Chapter One

  Well you know those stories where the prince saves the princess, they fall in love, and they live happily ever after. Well it's not what you think, in the movies us princesses look helpless and that we can't take care of ourselves well we can! Well some of us are actually helpless and can't take care of themselves, but I can, well my parents don't think I can, even though they made me take karate. I mean like seriously people I can take care of myself!!!!!!

   Being a princess people think "oh she has a perfect life, she doesn't have to do chores or work" well I do have to do work and tons of it!!!!! I have to seem completely perfect which is hard cause I'm not, And I got to meet a bunch of princes... ok sure people may think(especially girls) "oh your so lucky" well I'm not!!

     But like seriously most of the princes just want the money from my family, so there basically gold diggers. I tend to watch out for those kinds.

       I finally met one prince who wasn't after money, I could see it in his brown eyes that he wasn't after money and I appreciate that, but I don't want to get married any time soon.

     My parents seem to approve of him too. Well great guess he's staying for the night. How do I know? I read lip and I don't approve.

    Well it was getting late and I couldn't concentrate so I went on a walk. I felt someone pull my arm. "Prince?" I asked. "Yea, how did you know?"he replied the asked. "I know things, I was just going on a walk so if you want to join me you can." I replied then stated.

   He started to walk beside me. "So, let's hear your background." I said. "Well lots and lots of fan girls... uh... Ships... negotiations since I was 10... so let's hear yours." He said. "Lots and lots of work, started learning french since I could talk so like 2 years old, and started to meet a bunch of stuck up princes." I said then stopped "Why did you stop?" he asked. "I think someones  following us." I replied. "but who in the world would follow us." He said. "Well maybe The Prince Of Darkness, Ever heard of him?" I asked. "Yes, I have... but why would he....."He said as I jump over his head to kick the guy behind him. "Oh thanks"He said gratefully.

  "Prince stay on guard theres more." I said. I fought off a couple of them. They stopped and ran... but why did they run? I turn around to look for Prince but where is he?... oh no! They got him, I ran as fast as I could but to no avail. He's gone. I quickly ran inside and found my dad.

"They got him, they actually got him." I said in fear. " but there is no way he's back do you know why he took him."my dad said. "No I don't know but let me find him." I said. "You can't I forbid you, if he gets you he will..." he said yet didn't continue. "He will what dad I didn't think I was that important." I said. "You aren't at least to him, but you are Important to me, your the only child I have now." He said then frowned. I hugged him. "I understand but it's important to retrieve Prince because we don't know what he will do to him." I said. "Well you can't the guards will find him, now go get some rest Lydia." He ordered in a gentle voice. I stomped off annoyed.

  I pulled a bag from my closet and brought extra clothing, water, daggers, and a bow with some arrows of course. I planned to take off in the middle of the night so it was easier to sneak off.

   I went to the kitchen to gather some food. "So princess why are you hanging in the kitchen?"the head chef asked. "I was hungry and wanted to bring some food up to eat, well only if it was ok with you." I lied. "Of course princess." The chef said as he handed me some bread. "Thank you." I said as I headed to my room I put the bread in my bag and put a pillow under my sheets to replace me. I changed into a all black outfit, grabbed my bow and hung it around my shoulder, I jumped out my window and went into the forest. I need to find him before my brother gets to him.
