"Very well, (Name). You're almost done." Blanche comments, looking over your shoulder as you stopped playing. You looked up, smiling nervously.
"I messed up again, didn't I?" You question, frowning when Blanche looked off to the side.
"It is to be expected, you'll master the song one day." Blanche turns back to look at you, face stoic and void of emotions. "The song is quite long as well, it's normal to 'mess' up." Blanche adds, turning briskly to grab their previous book, sitting down gracefully in an armchair. You watched Blanche, sighing before turning back to the piano, fingers grazing all of the keys.
You started to play once again, slowly.
* * * * * *
You cracked your stiff fingers, smiling proudly. Blanche, who fell asleep a few hours ago, shifted on the chair they sat on, eyes opening. You turned when they yawned lightly, smiling giddily at the albino.
"Mm, what time is it?" Blanche questions, opening their eyes to look at you. You shrugged, bouncing in your seat.
"Don't know, haven't been paying attention, but" You turn back to the piano "I've been practicing for awhile and I want you to hear my progress!" You add, looking at Blanche over your shoulder. They nodded slowly and stood, stretching as they did. They then walked to your side, nodding at you to begin. You turned to the piano, took a deep breath and grazed the keys before slowly beginning, begging yourself not to mess up again after practicing for so long.
Blanche's eye widened at the improvement and started to smile, closing their eyes as you played without much effort. You smiled as your fingers did the magic across the keys, pressing lightly and quickly as the song progressed.
Once you finished the final note, Blanche patted your shoulder, making you turn to face them.
"Perfection has granted you its power upon this song, I'm proud. Moonlight Sonata is a difficult song, and it was beautifully played by you. If Beethoven was alive and could hear, he'd be proud of you as well." Blanche praises, smiling lightly. You grin back, swelling with pride.
"It's all thanks to you for teaching me!" You reply, carefully getting up, hands twitching at your sides as Blanche looked up to meet your gaze.
"Can I, uh, hug you?" You question, chewing your lip nervously as Blanche blinked in surprise, before they smiled. They nodded, stiffening slightly as you wrapped your arms around the shorter human (idk) happily.
"Thank you, Blanche. I owe you big time (rush)!" You exclaim, pulling back to hold onto Blanche's shoulders.
"I, ehem, am grateful to teach you. You are an amazing pianist in the making." Blanche replies, cheeks tinted a faint hue. Before you could reply, the living room doors burst open, causing the two of you to whip around to face the intruder.
"I HEARD SOMEONE PLAYING BEETHOVEN. WHO WAS IT?!" Spark yells, eyes wide. He looked at Blanche, then you. You quickly removed yourself from Blanche and blushed, twiddling your thumbs. Blanche straightened, brushing themselves off.
"(Name) was playing. Spark what are you doing up at this time?" Blanche questions, brown (???) eyes locking with Spark's blue hues. The blond turned sheepish, quickly rubbing the nape of his neck.
"I, uh, was doing...... homework?"
"Spark, you graduated high school a year ago."
"Uh....."
"You were drinking energy drinks again, weren't you?"
"Well, I, uh..... What are you doing up Blanche?!" Spark replies quickly, raising his nose in the air. You shift from one foot to the other, looking down at your shoes. Blanche sighs, crossed their arms and shakes their head.
"(Name) here, has been practicing Moonlight Sonata for hours, and has managed to perfect the song. I have, ehem," Blanche cleared their throat "have been staying up, listening." You looked up at Blanche, a small smile on your lips before a gasp was heard from Spark. You barely got the chance to turn before you were tackled to the floor, the blond male straddling your waist.
"Dude, you play Beethoven's music!? Play something for me, please!" Your face grew beet red as your eyes connected with Spark's. He was grinning and didn't really care about the position the two of you were in, but Blanche did. And they tore Spark off of you angrily by the ear.
"Spark, I have told you time and time again, don't tackle my students! (Name) has been the only one that hasn't left yet!"
"Ow, ow, ow!" Spark whines as Blanche's grip tightened on his ear. You sat up, face still red, and watched as Blanche angrily scolded a now whining Spark.
((Lol, this sucked. Like, barely any action, BUT, Beethoven.
Also, watch Classicaloid. Great anime, man.
